First bling of the year and new goals!

Having enjoyed the C25K programme so much I wanted to find a new challenge to set set myself for this year to try to consolidate my running. I don't really see myself pushing to increase my distances up to half marathon or marathon levels but I cycle regularly and I used to swim a lot (many years ago lol) so...........I've signed up for 3 triathlons, one in April then June and finally July. The running distances are 3k for the first and 5k for the other two.

So today I ran a local 5K to get myself off to a good start for my training and to collect my first bling of the year to chase away any lingering January blues.

I'm really excited about combining my running with cycling and swimming and can already cover all the necessary individual distances although putting them together into one event rather than having rest days between them will be fun and challenging!

Bring it on!
