First comes miscarriage, then comes marriage
Hello everyone, I got engaged jan 17. We were super exited about getting married and starting a family. I bought the magazines, had a Pinterest board and a series link for don’t tell the bride. Then in April 18 we lost our angel at 10 weeks. Ever since, the excitement to get married has gone. Straight

Struggling right now
Struggling over here! A lot going on... bottom line, my husband and I are not getting along. He's not the most emotionally supportive person and I clearly have a mental illness. We've been together for almost 17 years, and have 2 small children together. I have an older daughter from a previous marriage

In focus: managing the effects of chemotherapy - fatigue
Hello You may remember that we were doing a series of posts each month focusing on a particular health topic such as diet or complementary therapies. For October, we'll be looking at some of the effects of chemotherapy and how they can be managed. We're starting today with a post about fatigue. Fatigue

Regenerus DIO2 test?
To anyone out there who has done the above test. Hi there I have purchased this test and have received the pack, however it is a bit short on instructions. It just says rub your inside cheeks against your teeth before you spit into the small collecting cup. Do you have to leave a time between last eating

Anxiety meds/counseling.
Hello all. If you’ve seen my other posts you will know that I suffer from GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder) and that I also have very bad health anxiety and I believe that I’m a hypochondriac. I wanted to know if medications and/or counseling has helped anyone. I don’t have any medical insurance,

Wonderful Patient day Dublin 5 Oct
I was so happy I made the effort to attend Patient day yesterday. As usual Sharon had organised the day perfectly. Her guest speakers were truly inspiring and meeting old and new friends was the icing on the cake. June and Rachel were as usual giving their time and Rachel touched us all with her own

Defeated and frustrated
I love my son, but most of the time I don't like him, and I feel horrible for even admitting that. I feel like all I do is fight with him--over everything, even simple things. If he's asked to do anything, it's a fight and constant negotiation--laundry, HW, hygiene, picking up after himself, riding in

Dear Abby letter on 09.30.19
I just finished reading Dear Abby today and was rather appalled by her response to a college student who was obviously struggling with depression and anxiety regarding the future. Abby's first sentence in her reply was "it has been some time since I have seen a letter filled with as much negativity

Blood test results
These are my latest blood test results. I wasn’t expecting to have them done so I hadn’t fasted and I’d taken my usual levo that morning. I only got these printed this morning but I seen the doctor on Wednesday who told me the results. He told me my tsh was 3.25 (I can’t find that anywhere on the results

Given up so many times
I used to boast with irony that I had given up more than I started. Well I hope this is the last time I give up. If it's not then I will try again. I read somewhere that smokers are addicts and in addiction counseling step one is too admit addiction. In announcing addiction one is taking ownership and

Hi all This is likely to be an epistle. It is 5.55am and I have been awake a while now, you know the scenario. Can’t stop your mind buzzing around all those thoughts that won’t go away. I’m not in a good place at the mo. Probably should be back on the citalopram. I’m so good at giving out the advice

Counselling services
Hi lovelies, I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for counselling services? My work has an assistance scheme that we can call but I was wondering if there was anything more bespoke out there...? I believe my clinic offers 3 sessions but it doesn’t seem much, so I thought I’

I can’t trust my own son
Hi. I have a 16 year-old boy DX with ADHD & LD.. seeing an increase in lying of late. Punishment does not seem to be working, neither does praise for telling the truth. I am at my wits end. I’m considering counseling at this point. Any suggestions? Ty :(

Morning Paralyzation
Every single morning I have found my anxiety and depression to be extremely intense. More intense than at night. I used to set alarms for every two hours just to make sure I can wake up and know that I can quickly fall asleep to have just a few moments of peace before I wake up and lay in my bed. Also
