Taking progesterone during pregnancy
I have a 18mo DS who was born at 34w due to prom. I’m pregnant again and am trying to find out ways to prevent another premature birth. I’ve read that taking progesterone to support the pregnancy is an option. Has anyone taken Progesterone during pregnancy? When did you start and finish? Which form

13dpt IUI BFN - I am out
Hello girls, my test day is officially tomorrow, but I know there is no hope for me with a BFN at 13dp IUI. My period hasn't show up yet and even if I am on progesterone it usually shows up almost 2 days before my test day, but I know that with an IUI the chances of my BFN to become a BFP are zero.

Secondary unexplained infertility and IVF
We conceived our son back in 2012 after only trying for a few months. He was born by csection because he was breech. When he was 1 we decided to try for another. Stick with mirena or have it removed?
Hi I have a gynae appointment coming up and I’m not sure whether to ask for the mirena to be removed or give it more time… I’ve had it for nearly 9 months now and it’s changed my pain pattern rather than being around periods I am experiencing pain throughout the month, about 20 days a month of pain

Progesterone Lubion injections - meds changed for FET #2
For my last FET I was on 2 x 400mg of cyclogest. For my upcoming FET they will be putting me on 1 x 25mg Lubion and 1 x 400mg of cyclogest. Is this new combo likely to be more effective? As I asked for whatever will work better and with the injections ..thinking they were the progesterone in oil, only

Induced menopause
Hello, I am going into induced menopause after having a laparoscopy, IUD, contraceptive implant and taking progesterone tablets for a year. Could anyone tell me their experience. What should I expect? I am 24 years old so am nervous about ruining my chances of pregnancy. Thanks

Combined pill, weight and other options
Hi all, So a bit of background. I had a laparoscopy 3 years ago to remove a cyst from my ovary which turned out to be a chocolate cyst and they also found adhesions on my other ovary and diagnosed endometriosis. I had a mirena coil already and so haven't had further treatment. 6-9 months ago I started

4th time, can I do anything more?
Hi Hope you are all well. I'm going for my fourth embryo transfer soon, the previous have all been negative. First 3 were funded NHS and this one is private NHS. They seem to be doing the same meds and process regardless of it not working 3 times. After embryo transfer they only recommend the cyclogest

Starting oestrogen patches and progesterone
Hi all, grateful for any pointers pls I’m on day one of HRT - oestrogen patches and will take progesterone half way through my cycle. Is it ok do you think to start patches on day 22 of my cycle? The pharmacist said it was fine to start with patches and leave the progesterone til my first full cycle

Heavy spotting the day before IVF pregnancy test...
Has anyone had good news when this has happened? I'm on the new method for fresh transfer, pessaries and injections of progesterone. 39 this month and with a single embryo viable from the cycle... can't help feeling deflated. Wishing you all good luck on your journeys.

Hair loss during treatment?
Hi All, anyone experience this? Currently 7weeks along after 6th cycle. On 1 progesterone injection and 1 pessary daily. Also 1 heparin injection daily, up as far as 12weeks, hopefully. Never had it before on previous cycles but never had heparin either so it could be this. At a point I can't even brush

Fet transfer 5 or 6 days???
When they say transfer will be 5 or 6 days after positive ovulation test is it just in case it falls on a Sunday or is there another reason? Would effect the outcome either way? Nervous about the later transfer because my luteal phase is shorter,I know progesterone will help prolong it but I had a

Natural or chemical induced cycle for FET?
What’s everyone opinions on natural cycle with ovulation sticks vs chemical cycle for a FET transfer. I’ve only done natural cycles but after MMC and BFN today I’m thinking about the next cycle. I’d like to go again this month but the progesterone is playing tricks and I’m now 3 days late. But def
