Endometriosis and breast fibroadenomas
hello, I just wondered if anyone had experienced multiple fibroadenomas with endometriosis. I have deep infiltrating endometriosis. I had a breast biopsy last August due to a pea size lump in my breast which turned out to be a fibroid however since then I’ve had endo excision surgery, taken progesterone

Sensitive: update and lines/symptoms in case it's helpful
This shock natural pregnancy may actually be happening - I know this is sensitive and tbh I was quite resentful when I saw people getting pregnant naturally on here as I assumed it would never be me. We have been TTC for 10 years, never had a sniff of a bfp naturally, turned out to be a weird responder

Private endo strongly suspects I have PCOS
Hello, I have Hashimoto's and hypothyroidism and am on 162.5 mcg levo and 25 mcg T3. I'm slightly over medicated and trying to lower my dose gradually. Today I saw a private endo for the first time who looked at my fasting insulin (6.6) and said it shows I have insulin resistance. My testosterone is

Feeling low and losing hope
Apologies in advance as this is more of a rant out of sheer frustration! We had egg retrieval this week (day 0) we got 5 eggs Day 1: got call to say 4 fertilised and 1 fertilised abnormally which has been discarded Day 3: 2 appear normal so far and 2 are abnormal/have fragmentation, however they said

egg retrieval and high progesterone level
Hi everyone, Looking for some advice/ anyone that may have been in a similar boat. Today was egg collection day (4th time). They managed to retrieve 4 eggs but I was told that they would have to be frozen if they make it to day 5 blastocysts due to my bloods on Monday showing high levels of progesterone

hello everyone Last week I took a visit to my GP after having heavy periods, stomach pains, dizziness, full body pain, headaches and nausea for the last 10 years. Other doctors have suspected arthritis but after being on pain meds and treatment for several years and still no difference I decided to

Estrodial gel
Hi, I’m no estrogean gel and progesterone tablets, but they don’t seem to be helping with my very low mood and anxiety. Someone has suggested I try the patches instead. Does anyone have any experience with this please? Much appreciated.

Missed Lubion injection
Following my FET 12 days ago, I have been prescribed I x cyclogest pessary and 1 x lubion injection a day. Last night when I went to do my injection I realised I had run out of syringes and needles (I have plenty of the drug itself). It was late so I took a pessary instead as wasn’t sure what else to

just 1 follicle
I’m currently undergoing follicle tracking on natural ovulation for PCOS. I’ve had 4 miscarriages due to low progesterone so need to go on the pessaries as soon as I get pregnant, as my problem is the embryo is implanting but soon miscarries as I can’t maintain my lining for some reason. Anyway, I had

Do I need to stop taking estrogen? Feel as if I'm choosing between mental and physical health.
So I've read a lot now- probably too much. From what I can gather from things (and I am new to this - didnt know I had endometriosis until Tuesday when they aborted my hysterectomy as my bowel is fused to my cervix) estrogen seems to be the driving force behind endometriosis. Is that true? It also seems

Over range copper and zinc
The only culprit I can think of is milk thistle. Any thoughts on over range copper and zinc? About a 10 months ago, zinc was low-ish and copper slightly over so I supplemented zinc for a short while but stopped a couple of months ago. Then the week before last started with milk thistle for liver support

Sensitive: *update* Am I one of those miracle stories or is this more heartache and help please...
*Sensitive update: hcg went from 80 to 430 in 4 days and progesterone is still high even though I'm on only one utrogestan a day, so I am feeling hugely relieved as none of my losses got that far or went up like that. Btw I've done a gazzilion tests on different brands (as FRERs out of stock everywhere

fresh transfer cancelled because of cyst. Why?
39 years old. Egg collection today. Three retrieved. Planned for fresh transfer. Before retrieval the DR told me I wouldn’t be able to have a fresh transfer as my progesterone was 15. AFter the op I saw the nurse who said I would be going with fresh transfer. I mentioned the progesterone and she

Update- taking too much cyclogest and how many embryos we’ve frozen
Thought I would post a little update. This morning I cleverly forgot I’d done my cyclogest already and used two pessaries. This triggered me into heading to the hospital in a bit of a panic, thinking I’d killed my embryo. The nurse reassured me that it was totally okay and that they sometimes subscribe

Testosterone
Hi everyone, I'm a long time ThyroidUK participant. Right now the thyroid replacement is good, vitamins, minerals, are all great. I'm very particular to ensure this. I use HRT (Triestrogen/progesterone) topical cream and have used since age 45 and I'm now 65. Here's the problem: in March

Hi, can anyone help me please with recent hormone imbalance test. I’m really not clued up on hormones! I needed to check my ft3 and was offered a free blood test from Forth to fully check my hormones. I’m now more confused than ever with so many over range results.. I’m 49, not aware I’m going through

Progesterone: oestrogen ratio
Hi all I recently got my oestrogen and progesterone levels done by medichecks.I was hoping they worked out the actual ratio of oestrogen to progesterone but they don't so now I'm confused. The 2 results are calculated in different values (pmol/L Vs nmol/L) which makes it hard to interpret if one of

Could low iron be making me feel very unwell?
For the past 6 weeks I have had awful dizziness, tingling feet, feeling spaced and almost consents tinnitus. It’s got so bad I’m having to go to bed for chunks of the day and when I’m up I don’t feel very present. I’ve seen a neurologist, had an MRI and CT scan and a brain bleed was ruled out. The
