13dpt IUI BFN - I am out

Hello girls, my test day is officially tomorrow, but I know there is no hope for me with a BFN at 13dp IUI. My period hasn't show up yet and even if I am on progesterone it usually shows up almost 2 days before my test day, but I know that with an IUI the chances of my BFN to become a BFP are zero.

I am 44 and desperate. Also I feel like I'm being treated with the attitude that if it doesn't work , it's just because I am old. I was told that my husband doesn't even need to do a test because last IUI I had a chemical so it's obvious that his sperm works.

This time they make me trigger when my dominant follicle was only 16mm saying that by the time of the trigger it would be 18.

Sorry to hear about it. Wouldn't IVF a possibility? If you were able to have a chemical pregnancy that must mean something good right? Your body has been able before so why not again.

One woman in the office that it's 48 told me the other day that she is pregnant....so I don't think your age should be a concern

Thank you for the kind words. My last IUI was a converted IVF because I developed a dominant follicle. This time it was a kind of the same, because the doctor put me on a very low dose of stimulation so basically one follicle managed to grow and became dominant...at least tis is what they said.

When they told me to trigger the biggest one was 16 then 10, then some smaller ones...but they didn't want to wait..

I find this world very complicated so I don't if those things indicate something serious or if they mean that it's difficult but possible.

I would love to be able to provide you with a lot of knowledge and the right answer but I am lost here too. I can only send you the biggest hug😘😘
