Merry Smoke free Christmas from a dusty Mozambique
Entering the festive season with so much to be thankful and really sorry to be absent the last few weeks …But as we all know life has got some ups and downs…..and the drought is really tough. On the farming side very ,very difficult with the continuous drought and the Mozambique government stopped irrigation

Nearing 12 weeks quit & weaning off champix chantix experience
At 8 weeks quit, i cut 1 1mg tablet in half and took other 1mg equal to 1.5mg. My system may not have taken well to uncoated meds so i only did this a few days and cut back to one 1mg tablet a day. I then got prescription for .5mg tablet and took 2x a day to equal 1mg a day then one .5 mg. At or around

Good morning everyone from snowy warm Canada! Sounds like such an oxymoron. Just took the dog for a walk & it is warm and sparkly white outside. I feel so good and havent had a cig since Dec 4 at 2 pm. Over a week. Might not have got this far without Champix. This site is very valuable, thanks

Nearly 3 weeks. Not well but proud
So cruising along nicely. Dont want to jinx it or sound big headed but not one crave or want . I reckon its because I have tried at least twice a year for the last five. With every different method possible. Champix being the easiest for me. So have lots of experiences and mistakes to draw on in this

Miracle Champix
Hi, I am Marie. As smoker of 40 yrs, six years ago I took Champix. Within 10 days I just didn't want to smoke. My will power was nonexistent where smoking was concerned. I rang the quit line and a lovely guy suggested Champix. So the old saying you quit when you're ready I believe doesn't apply. Over

Day 2 smoke free
Hey, thought I'd post again, hope that's ok! So day 2 is nearly at an end, yay. Not been too bad today, much the same as yesterday. Been busy with the school run, work and then went to the smoking clinic and registered a 2 on the CO2 machine, last week when I was smoking that was 23 so a massive improvement

Day 11 champix, day 1 smoke free
Hi everyone, so I decided to give Champix a try. I have had no side effects except from some spots on my face. Was still smoking 20 cigs a day yesterday! Had my last cig at 9pm last night. Champix made me feel as though I was smoking air but I still continued to smoke my usual 20 a day. Today has been

Thanks Roisin for my badge!!!! If any body had told me this time last year that I could give up my cigs I wouldn't have believed them. For 38 years I wasted so much time, money, and effort on smoking (and trying to hide it). And to think I only started at 16 to fit in and look cool (showing my age

Is it normal?
Today is my three-week mark... I feel great and I am very proud of myself. I thought after this long I would be over my cravings. I don't get irritated anymore, or mad or sad for no reason, which is great. Still, a few times a day I just wanna go to the store and buy a pack of smokes. Even though I know

31 days smoke free!
I made it to a month smoke free. The cravings are getting less but definitely still there. I've been very emotional recently and so tired. I have had a lot going on at work and home at the moment so cravings have been quite intense. I have actually surprised myself that I haven't lit one up. The champix

Out of the blocks
At 4pm yesterday I had my last fag. So now begins the marathorn of quitting. Sleep has been terrible with the champix. Tossing and turning and weird dreams. Mornings are hardest for me so trying to keep busy to take my mind off it. Taking a day at a time. I know from previous experience not to think

Starting on Champix - full anxiety
Hi, On top of my anxiety issues worsened by the seasonal blue, I've decided to quit smoking (thinking that it would improved the anxiety symptoms). The doctor prescribed CHAMPIX which its common side effects are well known: nausea, bad stomach, vivid dreams, depression,.... I took the 1st table 1 h ago

Trying again with Champix 3rd time lucky 😲
As the title says here we go again. On day 5 of the pills and have noticed I havent smoked half as many as usual. Problem I have is that I can get off the fags quite easy, its staying quit is my problem. I need this to be the last time. They cost too much, they stink and I feel unhealthy.

Day 12, smoke free on Champix
I just thought I would pop this on here as when I was researching 'give up smoking with Champix' this site came up and I found lots of info. I started my Champix on Oct 2nd 2017 (my Stoptober) the first week I carried on smoking as usual, felt a little sick after taking the tablets but other than that
