31 days smoke free!

I made it to a month smoke free. The cravings are getting less but definitely still there. I've been very emotional recently and so tired. I have had a lot going on at work and home at the moment so cravings have been quite intense. I have actually surprised myself that I haven't lit one up. The champix is definitely working for me.

You are doing brilliant. Quitting with Champix makes it so much easier. Are you still taking the full dose ?

Hope things settle down in your life soon. I hate those intense craves that are associated to something like anger, sadness or excitement. Or a place holiday etc. Romantising fags is one of my flaws and caused me to slip up in the past. Not this time.

Laura6 "romantisising" them is the perfect description. Thanks for that! I may be angry for not having one & maybe that's what am doing. No worries, am in bed for the night & not wanting one, but that anger feeling whew. Snuck up on me

Good to hear from you Quiterjo - 1 month is a huge milestone, hope you have a treat lined up.....

With regards the champix, yes, it helps and takes the edge off the withdrawal but give yourself a huge pat on the back and the deserved credit as it is you that is staying strong and not lighting up that the cigarette, well done :)
