It’s All Due to the Thyroid: Lessons Learnt From a Patient's Perspective
It is all very well to reach conclusions about psychology, education and
counselling
, but they offer no promise that they are available and will be used effectively. If they were, this report would not have been needed. As they are not, how do we get from here to there?

Restrictions & mixed messages
I’ve felt slightly broken in the head for about 6wks, due to start
counselling
via Christie’s in a month - the last 5yrs have taken a toll and probably now it’s all hitting home.

Is a hysterectomy inevitable?
I feel so helpless -has anyone found anything that works, diet, exercise, yoga,
counselling
, acupuncture. All the medical evidence is so deflating - i.e. nothing officially works :(

Mental Health Resources
It’s a serious issue and I think people should have more access to resources, especially for those who can’t afford
counselling
like myself. 1. First, I highly recommend “Julia Kristina Couselling” on YouTube. I find her videos to be very insightful and easy to understand.

HOW DO YOU MANAGE COMPULSIONS?
Do you know any free CBT with consultation cause I need to talk to a specialist or have
counselling
but I can't afford it. I have a 1 year old baby and I can't live a life like this. I pray that God will lead me to the right people that can help me with my OCD...

Mental health
I think anxiety is inevitable when it comes to IVF and loss (especially during a pandemic). This sh*t is hard! However I feel like I’ve reached the point (or probably been here for a long time but now come to the realisation rather) than I need further help regarding my mental health through this process

Reasonable Work Adjustments
My GP is supporting me with medication and CBT
counselling
. Both help but are limited. . I want to make a successful return without having to go on sick leave again but am not sure what constitute “reasonable adjustments”. I work in sales leading a team of people in a high stress environment.

Triangulation and Silent Resentments
Hi, everyone. I'm feeling kinda stuck right now. There's this dynamic in our family where my dad will trash talk my mom to me. For example, recently, he told me she was "way too high-strung" just because she was giving me advice on what to do next in finding a career. Or there was also the time when

Feeling overwhelmed
Even though I didn't have the
counselling
session today, I managed to leave the car to go into the shops for some essentials.

Married to a lovely man with severe ADHD and memory issues. Help!
I typed "My husband had ADHD and I think I'm going crazy" into Google search out of pure desperation. This site popped up, so I know that I am not alone. My issue is that he is incredibly forgetful then denies conversations/situations ever happen. It's an unintentional "gaslighting". After 12 years

Returned to

for the first time in over a year. Didn’t think I would be back, but I’ve been struggling heavily with the loss of someone important to me.

Depression and anxiety
Hi. I'm new here. I have been experiencing depression for about 30 years now and have had counseling, antidepressants and exercised. I am currently taking an antidepressant. I have had intermittent anxiety episodes for the last 10 years which I have kept somewhat under control with breathing techniques

Needing encouragement and support
I am a therapist who experiences anxiety. I have been doing great and love where I work and who I work with. Last week I had to sign an affidavit for a release of records for one of my child clients in a custody dispute. I feel like that was my trigger. My graduate program was more focused on general
