I hope that it’s alright, I would like to give you free online resources that helped me with mental health. I would like to help as many people as I can and there’s so many people who struggle with mental health. It’s a serious issue and I think people should have more access to resources, especially for those who can’t afford counselling like myself.
1. First, I highly recommend “Julia Kristina Couselling” on YouTube. I find her videos to be very insightful and easy to understand. If you like her videos, you could also follow her on Instagram.
2. If you didn’t like my first choice, or you wanted another YouTuber, “Katie Morton” is an excellent choice. She also discusses Mental Health Topics.
3. This one is an interesting choice of mine. Personally I like to use Pinterest as well. I found reflection sheets on Pinterest. If you get triggered, you can reflect on the situation. It’s also useful for questions to ask yourself. That’s good for journalling. It has self care ideas and so much more.
4. Journalling!! Do you ever start a diary and don’t keep up with it? Yeah, me too. If you can, that’s great! Journalling for me is less about writing down memories. For me journalling is about understanding myself. It’s really important to understand yourself before you try to “fix” yourself.
On the surface, you feel depressed or anxious but when you understand why… it makes it better to treat. A lot of your triggers come from suppressed childhood trauma or how you were raised.
Whenever you suppress your feelings and ignore issues, it comes back later in life. It is always best to deal with them as they happen and have the right management plan.
If you have any questions or would like any more resources or help. Please comment or private message me. I would be happy to help. Please take care of your mental health. You are important.

This was a lovely idea to make a list of resources.
I am familiar with Katie Morton. Her videos are great.
The reflection sheets on Pinterest sound interesting. I will check that out.
Journaling is one of my go-to's as well. I allow myself to write about anything, in any form. Sometimes a little poetry sneaks in there, too.
For another recommendation, I suggest Douglas Bloch on YouTube. He is a very experienced counselor and "mental health educator" with a gentle, humorous manner. His voice comforts me. You can find a ton of resources on his website as well.
Currently, I am feeling anxious, lonely, and sad.
It concerns me, because I was able to be with friends for a few hours today, and I had a great time.
I've heard rumors of chat groups on here, and I've been trying different searches, but frustratingly, I have yet to find any information about one.
I guess I'm looking for more regular, consistent support.
The self reflection sheets I am referring to, can be found by searching “healing schemas” or “DBT Self Help Resources”. These reflections are titled Emotion Regulation Handout or Mindfulness Handout at the top of the page. These sheets are from the “DBT Skills Training Handouts and Worksheets” book.
These reflection sheets are really good for observing and describing emotions you are feeling in the moment. These sheets are good for anyone. I plan on using them when I have children.
Thanks! I will check out “Douglas Bloch”, he sounds interesting.
I have never heard of group chats on here. There are a couple of communities. You can post anything you want anonymously. You can also private message someone but I don’t think you can group chat.
I guess what I mean by "group chat" would be private messages between a small group of people... I think that's possible? Someone I spoke to on this site said that there were chat groups on here... but since they're private, someone would have to "invite" us to one, or a person could start their own "group" privately. I think.🤷♀️
Thank you, I just realized that is possible. Go to messages, start a new message and you can select as many users as possible. I have never started a group chat so I don’t know if you can invite others once the group chat is created.
Before you have a group chat, you need a subject matter so that everyone in the group can relate and want the same thing. You could create a depression group chat or anxiety group chat. If you want to create one, make a public post and ask people.
Hi was wondering what the group chat would be about I came across your post & I feel similar that it’d b nice to hav a bit more regular or consistent support when needed on here! Hopefully you’ll see this reply- let me know your thoughts I think it’s a good idea!
