Mental Health Resources

I hope that it’s alright, I would like to give you free online resources that helped me with mental health. I would like to help as many people as I can and there’s so many people who struggle with mental health. It’s a serious issue and I think people should have more access to resources, especially for those who can’t afford counselling like myself.

1. First, I highly recommend “Julia Kristina Couselling” on YouTube. I find her videos to be very insightful and easy to understand. If you like her videos, you could also follow her on Instagram.

2. If you didn’t like my first choice, or you wanted another YouTuber, “Katie Morton” is an excellent choice. She also discusses Mental Health Topics.

3. This one is an interesting choice of mine. Personally I like to use Pinterest as well. I found reflection sheets on Pinterest. If you get triggered, you can reflect on the situation. It’s also useful for questions to ask yourself. That’s good for journalling. It has self care ideas and so much more.

4. Journalling!! Do you ever start a diary and don’t keep up with it? Yeah, me too. If you can, that’s great! Journalling for me is less about writing down memories. For me journalling is about understanding myself. It’s really important to understand yourself before you try to “fix” yourself.

On the surface, you feel depressed or anxious but when you understand why… it makes it better to treat. A lot of your triggers come from suppressed childhood trauma or how you were raised.

Whenever you suppress your feelings and ignore issues, it comes back later in life. It is always best to deal with them as they happen and have the right management plan.

If you have any questions or would like any more resources or help. Please comment or private message me. I would be happy to help. Please take care of your mental health. You are important.

Basic way to help someone is to just listen. A person feels better when they talk about their problems. You don’t need to give them advice or help them unless they ask for it.
