Teetering on the edge
I'm looking into
counselling
but it's a long wait for services in my area. Using an online CBT course in the meantime, but my god I feel like I am one bad thing away from a breakdown

first counselling session after first failed cycle
We have our free
counselling
session with our clinic tomorrow, after our first ever failed cycle What will the talk about? What should we talk about? We have such mixed emotions and feeling and thoughts, are we expected just to say how we're feeling as it's kind of difficult.

They gave me a ADHD test which I totally had every every Mark almost except for like two and she was like if you have

Counselling
didn’t help as the counsellor told me that he couldn’t think of anything worse than having fibro and adhd and that he feels sorry for me as I’m grieving for the life I’ve lost. That felt great! Life just seems too hard at the moment and I can’t remember a day I was pain free.

Feeling v lost: When you reach the end of the line - any tips for counselling, support groups?
First, apologies this isn't a very inspiring post. None of us want to get to this point and all hope we won't and probably don't want to read about it! It feels like the bit of the 'journey' which in many ways is the least supported and discussed, perhaps even a bit taboo. Please look away if this isn't

Feeling helpless
I went onto antidepressants and I’ve been to
counselling
(which helped soo much …. AND there is a lot of family politics to add). To today - my 16 year old is adorable. Lovely, friendly and I adore them. BUT …. Since covid it’s ruined them!

Feeling Alive
For so long I can remember being unhappy with my life and the situations that I keep finding myself in. So many times I felt like the world would have been better off without me in it. Too many times I've hit rock bottom and had to crawl my way back up to a position where I can function. And that nagging

Keep spiraling
I seem to be on an endless cycle of depression and anxiety. For many years I was doing well, even thought I had my anxiety and depression beat. However, in the past year I have cycled almost every month for 7 - 8 days. The last two months it has been happening between 14 and 18 days. I believe it

2 years after best friend left the friendship.
Hi everyone. I wrote to this site 2 years ago after my best friend of 40 years had told me that she was leaving our friendship after she accused me of not being supportive etc., and never a good friend and she needed time away. Prior to this I had offered to pay for a few sessions of counseling to hopefully

Help for victims of ketamine given as a post-op drug..?
She has been diagnosed with severe PTSD as a result of the drug and is currently receiving
counselling
to cope. It is difficult, not to say impossible, to find any organisation or forum or indeed and people who really understand just how traumatic this experience can be.

14 year old son starting Adderall
my 14 year old is starting a low dose of adderall tomorrow, and then gradually working his way up assuming he doesn't have any major side effects. He is coming off 36 concerta, which he has been on since 6th grade. His ADHD has been treated by his pediatrician until yesterday when we had his first

Help to support PSP sufferer
Giving
counselling
to someone with a condition that does not have the best of outcomes is new territory for me, although I have had many, many years of
counselling
those with stress and anxiety, I am just wanting to ensure I am a help and not a hindrance!

It's a negative :(
Our clinic has a
counselling
session so we've booked that in. Feeling mixed emotions as I kind of feel like why would my body do anything different, I mean we've been trying for years. I feel upset that it didn't work as that was ours.
