Coming of the pill and straight on to HRT
I’m coming off the pill next week & starting HRT. I’m going with Evorel 100 patch & Utrogestan 100. I tried to do this 4 months ago & was on the Evorel 50 patch. I felt terrible & had awful side effects. I went back on the pill. I’m now going to try again as I’m 52 & can’t stay on the pill. I’m considering

Astra-Zeneca Vaccine - Risk of Blood Clots
I think this simple graphic from Salford Clinical Commissioning Group illustrates how low the real risk is. Whilst somewhat off topic I feel it an important point. Sorry HU seems to have an unexplained issue uploading it. Will try again later! 😠 Goodness k ows what the issue is but for now here are

Hi guys, I have had hideous periods, heavy and painful, since 14 (now 39) and have been on the pill the majority of the time since (except for having two children). The last year or so my symptoms have got much worse and include pelvic pain all month, cysts, and stabbing ovary pains. I had a scan in

Can you stop taking the pill midway through the second pack?
I have been on my COCP for several years & have backed my packets up for the first time in a while - I have been experiencing spotting for the last week & unsure as to why - could anyone help? Also if I were to stop taking my pill now (been taking for4.5 weeks now) would I still be protected against

Should I go to the GP about my period?
I have been on the contraceptive pill for nearly 3 years now, my periods have always been slightly heavy and regular, however the past couple of months they have started to become late, lighter and more frequent blood clots... Is this something to be concerned about? Is it worth going to the doctor

SENSITIVE POST - low AMH at 31.
I hope this post brings hope to others as other posts like this did for me at the time of my diagnosis. My husband and I had been actively trying to conceive from the age of 29 although when I met him at 25 we had decided not to use any contraception. I come from a very fertile family and so was expected

Starting clomid
So my husband have had all tests done and have unexplained infertility. They have suggested to start clomid. I have something called chronic migrane syndrome which I currently have under control. I can't go on birth control of any kind as it really triggers it and are so bad that I spend days in bed.

Help! Endo symptoms
Hello, I've been on this forum all morning and it has been really helpful. I am really hoping someone can let me know if they have similar symptoms. I have suffered from heavy painful periods since I started at 11 years old. Nothing helped until I went onto the pill at 19. My periods got lighter and

I'm new to the pill and i was wondering if it's okay starting combined pill on the 2nd day of period?
Is it okay to start taking the combined pill on the 2nd day of period or would you recommend me waiting till my next period and taking it on the 1st day? Are there any issues I could get from starting it a day later? Main reason is for bad cramps, diarrhea and heavy bleeding for the first 2/3 days of

Pain management whilst trying for a baby?
Hello 🙂, I was fortunately diagnosed with endometriosis quite young (9 years ago, aged 18). Since then, I've had so many hospital admissions with excruciating pain where I've been given morphine and sent home. Thankfully I've found that the mini-pill completely eliminates the pain. We want to start

Wanting to thank everyone for their input, kindness and responses.
Hi Everyone Thank you all for answering my questions and sharing such great information. This is frightening being diagnosed with something you have never heard of and feeling the support and encouragement has helped a great deal. Having PV ,a Jax 2 positive and being asymptomatic is still hard to accept
