I'm an endometriosis patient. I already done laprascopic surgery for the chocolate cyst 9cm. Now I'm taking Contains Ethinyl Estradiol (0.02mg)+ Desogestrel (0.15mg). For last 1 and half years. Now I have heavy bleeding during tablet days. I'm taking Birth control pills 42 days back to back. On 8th May I'm completed 42 days pill then period came for me on 11th May night then 14th May night I started pill again. 15th May I had heavy period so I took 2 pills per day and tranexamic acid tablet 2 per day. 17th May I consulted doctor she suggested me to take 3 pills per day and 3 tranexamic acid per day. 19th May i took 2 pills per day and stopped tranexamic acid tablet. Then from 22th may I took 1 pill per day because I have abdominal pain and confusion, bad dreams and lack of sleep. I suffered with abdominal pain every morning 4am or 5am or 6am. So I took pain killer.
Now today I have heavy bleeding problem again on 30th May. So I consulted another doctor through online she told me don't take femilon(ocp) and stop completely and she told me to take ultrasound scan. She prescribed me tranexamic acid 3 per day for 3 days. Now my question is, I stopped my ocp tablet, will heavy bleeding occur? My last ultrasound scan was normal on October 2020. Now Any possibilities of fibroid?. I have many photos of heavy bleeding. But here I'm able to upload only 1 photo. I'm a 26 years old and virgin girl.
Thanks guys

Hi Nikill,I'm sorry your having such a rough time of it. I imagine if they are playing about with medication and hormone levels it will create a heavy bleed, no fun for you when your obviously suffering so much when you do have to.
I have had some phonomenal bleeds in the past, I'm on Desogestrel too and I haven't found it the best. If your really really finding it awful, maybe ask about Zoladex, it creates a synthetic menopause basically. Give you a break from all the symptoms for a bit, in exchange for some hot flushes.
I really hope you get sorted, too young to be suffering, although your about the same age as me when mine got bad but I have been sorted so I have all hope for you.
Thanks HarrietNow I consulted another doctor through online. She prescribed now Ethinyl Estradiol (0.03mg)+ Levonorgestrel (0.15mg) and many blood test CBC, TFT(FREE), PROLACTIN
I was really low in vitamin D once and they said that can cause more clotting and increase the pain, so probably just checking to see if anything else is causing it. I had endometriosis on my bowel that's what was causing all my discomfort so the scan will check for that. I had a scan once when I was in agony and they said my ovary was bleeding, for no apparent reason, was pretty uncomfortable. It's better to check and then at least you know it's a cyst from the ovary or endometriosis collecting somewhere else.
