Pain management while trying to get pregnant

Hello 🙂,

I was fortunately diagnosed with endometriosis quite young (9 years ago, aged 18). Since then, I've had so many hospital admissions with excruciating pain where I've been given morphine and sent home. Thankfully I've found that the mini-pill completely eliminates the pain.

We want to start trying for a baby later this year. I've decided that I want to track periods and ovulation for a few months before I start trying. The only problem is, if I come off the pill, I will once again be in excruciating pain which will effect life and work. Do I just have to accept that this pain is part of the process or has anyone found a way to manage pain whilst trying for a baby?

Many thanks for reading,

🙂
