Super thanks. Do you just run it back to back?

Yasmin - no side effects when taking it, can run two packs together, but sadly after that do have to have a period. And my GP won’t prescribe on repeat any more or for those new to it. They’ll only prescribe and pay for it, for women who’ve had it before, it’s worked for them, and they’ve struggled with other pills. I have to put in an eConsult / or have an appointment for each 3-6 supply of it.

Hey

I have just started Yasmin, did you find you had an adjustment period with side effects - I’ve had headaches and nausea since I started 2 weeks ago.

Also did you have any breakthrough bleeding? The main reason I’ve been prescribed this is to stop breakthrough bleeding

Thanks very much. Really appreciate your advice. My doctor prescribed a combination pill called Rigevidon so will see how I get on with that

You have to just try them. I've tried noriday and unbranded desogestral. Neither stopped my periods. Lighter but longer and more frequent. 🤷 Plus no sex drive. I've stopped everything now to see how I get on. Everyone is different so if one doesn't agree try another.

same as Endofighter80, I take Cerelle. Haven’t had a period since I started taking it in 2013. I have it on prescription, when I have my check ups, around every 6month they sometimes try to get me to swap to an injection pill but my reply is always: can you guarantee i won’t get a period? That’s then the end of that conversation

Where abouts do you live? Superdrug sell it over the counter, I think it’s about £8.
