I can't relate to the birth control, but I wanted to respond to your post. I want you to know that you are not alone with anxiety. I am so sorry you are in crisis. Are you on any medication for the anxiety?
Have you read the book Hope and Help for Your Nerves End Anxiety Now by Claire Weekes? It is a really good book. It talks about the initial fear that of the panic attack versus the second fear which is the fear of the panic attack. If we can just accept the feelings of the panic attack instead of fear that they mean something medical is wrong with us. It helps with understanding what the symptoms are of panic and then knowing that those symptoms can't actually hurt us. I know this is much easier said than done. I haven't learned it myself, but there are people here who have learned acceptance and have overcome their anxiety. It is very encouraging to read their posts. I do highly recommend the book, if you are interested. It is great if you are able to do it without meds.
