hiya guys, today i had an appointment with a gyno, and i’m just feeling quiet down about it, is that normal? i wanted to cry when she told me everything the doctors have said to me for years, go on contraception, which i’ve tried but i’m trying again. She then said that there’s a chance i may not have

My Afib and Bisoprolol
My last post was 2 yrs ago when my AFib was ruining my quality of life.. Regular episodes and anxiety was the norm.. Fortunately by cardiac nurse seemed to read my mind during a catch up conversation and we decided the pill in the pocket 2.5 mg of bisoprolol taken when my heart misfired would be better

Help with PCOS inositol supplements (trying to conceive!)
Hi all! I've been diagnosed with PCOS in my teens. I had most of the symptoms on the list, no periods, acne, hirsutism, heavy bleeding when periods deign to appear. I lost count of how many different pills I took and had most of their side effects (apart from blood clots thankfully!). It got to a point

coming off all hormones
hi warriors. I’ve bled for 73 days now since my surgery on 6th October. I’ve had options from my surgeon and they would effect fertility which I don’t want to do so we discussed coming off all contraception and using tranexemic acid on heavier days of my natural cycle. How many of you have used

I just don’t know how much more I can take
I’ve always had problems with my periods since being a teenager. I first went to the doctors around 18 and was dismissed. I’m now 36 and finally got a diagnosis of adenomyosis (via MRI scan) and endometriosis. I’ve had the surgery to do excision and I’ve bled non stop since. Yesterday I thought I

Lap V Lap Hysterectomy
At the risk of summoning a barrage of 'hysterectomies are evil' replies, I wondered if anyone can help me as I am totally lost for what to do next. I am 41 and I have deep-infiltrating Endo, as many of you do I'm sure. Today I went to see an Endo specialist after an 18 month wait as he is supposed

Double-dose progesterone to control symptoms?
Hi all, I’m 35 with suspected endo and been on arm implant (nexplanon) + desogestrel (progesterone only pill) for a year and a half. The implant on its own stopped the worse of cramps and heavy bleeding, but I was getting light bleeds almost daily for a couple of months, so was prescribed first a combined

Spasms/contractions at night causing intense pain
I'm 34 and have had endo symtoms since I was 11 when my periods started. Endo was suspected right away but I was told if I took birth control it would stop it from growing. Deep infiltrating endo was diagnosed earlier this year throughout my bowel and uterine ligaments and I'm having surgery in the spring. For

A question to lithium users
few people mentioned that they take 20 mg. In case of lithium orotate- 20 mg is summ of lithium and anion orotate, lithium is only 5 mg in the pill. However, some manufacturers put a label like lithium 20 mg on the bottle. So, when people say they take 20 mg, is it just a lithium or together with orotate

potential endo, no confirmed diagnosis.
to take it right back I have been experiencing numerous gynaecological issues for around 7 years now following my first C-Section. Extreme bloating, heavy periods but not painful and also periods that last a long time with darker/old blood. Fluctuating from constipation and diarrhoea. I have been given

I think I have endometriosis
Hi,I am a 25 year-old teacher and I think I may have endometriosis. I thought I would post my story on here in the hope that somebody may have had something similar and maybe let me know how the rest of their journey to diagnosis went. I started my periods at the age of 10, they were always heavy

Hi. My daughter age 16 was diagnosed with pcos earlier this year by a paediatric endocrinologist. She has acne. When she got a lot of sunshine and exercise over the summer she seemed to have a light period most months and acne improved. She does not have hirsutism or overweight. She may. Have thinking

Contraceptive pill and under-active thyroid.
I was diagnosed with an under active thyroid after having my second child. I literally would eat nothing and gain weight. I got diagnosed and it took about a year to get my levels right, however it still wasn’t right. To loose weight I had to literally starve myself I restricted myself to less than 2

Advice please
Hello everyone, I am writing as someone who has struggled with periods since puberty. When I first started my periods I was having very heavy periods that was lowering my iron causing me to have anemia. I was a very conscious school girl who was paranoid she smelt of blood and was going to leak any second

Does diet actually help symptoms of endometriosis?
Hi,I feel like I'm going to be posting in this group an awful lot as you are all so lovely and reassuring. I have another question as doing research online I see conflicting answers. I'm only recently in the process of being diagnosed and am searching for answers everywhere as I can no longer tolerate

Hi everyone... here to say hi and so glad to finally be part of a support group.
Hi everyone. I'm currently 29 and have been through severe period pain since I started my periods at 12 and ended up going on the pill and having severe pain, heavy bleeding and becoming anaemic. I still had pill breaks but the bleeding did get a bit lighter but the pain was still bad and progressively
