Latest Thyroid Results - still feeling rubbish ?
I am also taking
B
Complex
which contains 400iug of Folate but stopped these prior to the BT. Am I right in thinking that the Folate levels are decreasing as the B12 is treating the B12 deficiency.

mood supplement Advice
I supplement with vit d, selenium,
b
complex
, magnesium and iron for anaemia. And probiotics. My main issue that is bothering me most though, even above the pain is mood. I’m not depressed, but I feel in a bad mood a lot, irritable, angry no patience. Like I am pre-menstrual almost.

B

, and plenty of sunshine. Diagnosis: autoimmune thyroiditis, multinodule goitre, calcified thyroid cyst, many other thyroid cysts.

Going for a blood test at 4pm, do I take/not take my levothyroxine?
Hi, Hope everyone is doing well. I am going for my blood test which I think is going to be late-evening (awaiting confirmation). I have heard in previous forums to stop B-vitamins for 1 week (due to Biotin interfering with results) which I can do. I had wanted to ask on the day of the blood test

Testing my thyroid after stopping levothyroxine
From reading your website I started taking vitamin B12 as I am virtually vegan and had not considered my B12 intake, I also take a vitamin
B
complex
and vitamin D (I have just ordered some vitamin D3 as I realise that's important). I also take an iron supplement.

Can you take an iron supplement for a short time without gp prescription?
I'm taking vit d and
b
complex
. There's no way on this earth will a gp prescribe iron on my results. I wondered whether I could supplement myself for a wee while? My next thought might be hrt but I still have regular periods so not sure about this. Thank you in advance.

Also didn't take my
B

for 2 days prior to testing. Also curious as to why my B12 is always high on every test although on my latest test I left off them for 2 days. Been reading up on it.

Doctor correct or gaslighting me?
Saw my primary care doctor for RLS. She did order tests for Vitamin D, B9, and B12 deficiencies. Had been deficient in ferritin and she prescribed iron infusions. Tested iron stores level and it was 159 three weeks after infusions. Not deficient in the B vitamins but deficient in D. Anyway, I told

History of vitamin discovery and research
I ran into an interesting history of the discovery of, and subsequent research into, vitamins. The B vitamins section begins about a third of the way down. It's surprising to me how recently this all occurred. https://www.acs.org/content/acs/en/education/whatischemistry/landmarks/vitamin-b-complex.html
