colonoscopy and AF
Hi all, I’ve had colitis for thirty years and have had a surveillance
colonoscopy
at five yearly intervals. I was recently diagnosed with AF and am now absolutely terrified of having a
colonoscopy
in case I go into AF while having the procedure.

Colonoscopy tomorrow, currently prepping and worried
following all advice and treatments suggested by doctors I kept having rectal bleeding for 8 months, possibly due to a chronic anal fissure according to the last GI specialist I saw, though the previous Dr’s concluded no fissure was present and one haemorrhoid that was very small..I have pushed to get a

Endo diet and bowel symptoms
Although there was nothing sinister in the MRI she recommended a
colonoscopy
, which I'm in the process of arranging. I remember the endo diet helping before, but it was years ago, and I've never tried peppermint.

UP DATE
I've agreed to a
colonoscopy
re the DD as the symptoms I experience is not necessarily related to the Pancreas. I will have a biopsy to see if it's microscopic colitis as I have RA. If so I would have 3 months treatment . Next is a fasting lipase blood test.

Bleeding dark blood from my bottom
Today I was doing chores and found blood in my trousers 😔 I had a 2WW
colonoscopy
in March which come back clear. No piles inside or out, this was a bit hard to believe as I had a pile when I arrived. I have been feeling very dizzy. I don’t know what to do as I’m scared about everything. 😔😢

Ongoing mucus issue ibs
Ive had a full
colonoscopy
done 14 months ago and was clear. Ct with contrast of small bowel and was clear except a focal constriction but was told it was ok. I went gluten dairy free and took 1 loperamide a day and things improved since last year with the odd episode.

Has anyone here discovered they have endometriosis/and or adenomyosis at a later stage in life? Just found out at 50!
Right now I am sad and very angry. I have been under my local gynae and gastroenterology departments for over 20 years. That’s 20+ years of endless gastro tests for my ongoing digestive issues (I’ve had 2 colonoscopies, 2 gastroscopes, blood tests, fit tests, a scan for bile acid malabsorption). During

Preparing For Fistula Removal Surgery: What You Need To Know?
Medical Tests and Evaluations
The expert will probably order clinical exams together with blood paintings imaging scans and probably a
colonoscopy
to evaluate the extent of the fistula and your normal fitness.

Thyroid medication and side effects 😢
How do I approach my gp with this, especially if I can't get the one who sent me for the
colonoscopy
? I have all the gory photos of what I'm passing on my phone, that's why this particular gp sent me for the
colonoscopy
in the first place..

Tummy troubles and IVF
The only other thing they can offer me is a
colonoscopy
which I haven't been able to do because I'm always in IVF treatment or doing tests. The specialist thinks they will find nothing in a
colonoscopy
and therefore thought I should prioritise my IVF.

Colonoscopy prep - tips!
Hi all, I am due to start the Moviprep this evening, before my
colonoscopy
in the morning. As it stands none of my worry is for the actual procedure, it’s just for the prep!

He was shocked and said its not normal to pass that unless you have a bug or virus in the bowle (I had
colonoscopy
in May no cancer showed up and the gp said if no cancer is detected I will need to see the endocrinologist about it but it's hell trying to get that appointment 😠 I'm not going back on

"Very low risk" of colon cancer, so surveillance is unnecessary?
What is beyond debate is that "the polyps at your last
colonoscopy
" were not "under 1 cm" (as the
colonoscopy
report confirms, and the report from 5 years previously adds emphasis).
