I've seen the Gastroenterologist for the first time and he explained more fully what the CT scan my Dr had arranged. I knew I had chronic pancreatitis and Divicular decease from the scan. As I said in earlier posts I cannot tolerate enzymes due to the pork contents. So as nothing of any importance is available as an alternative that's it. I watch my diet. I don't smoke and this year have not had any alcohol. Alcohol was definitely not a factor to the cranky panky because I very rarely drank and not fussed about alcohol and anyway I was a lightweight. What could have caused it but not confirmed is one of the medicines I took for Rhuemtoid Arthritis ( auto immune disease) RA could have attacked the Pancreas Who knows! I've agreed to a colonoscopy re the DD as the symptoms I experience is not necessarily related to the Pancreas. I will have a biopsy to see if it's microscopic colitis as I have RA. If so I would have 3 months treatment . Next is a fasting lipase blood test. If nothing of importance comes from the tests I will see the Gastroenterologist in a year's time. So keep up the good work me. 🤗

Some cramping but nothing significant. Seeing the Gastro consultant next month for result of colonoscopy. Apparently there's nothing to worry about!. However the colonoscopy was hell. Sedation what sedation? There is an ongoing inquiry what went wrong as it had to be stopped. Fortunately biopsies were taken. Still maximum immoduim daily
