Anyone taking probiotics for diarrhea?
I've had a stool sample and a
colonoscopy
to ascertain the cause but no luck. I've read that taking probiotics could help, but are people finding these helpful and safe for transplant patients -- if so, what specific brands and dosages are people taking? Thanks so much.

colonoscopy and AF
Hi all, I’ve had colitis for thirty years and have had a surveillance
colonoscopy
at five yearly intervals. I was recently diagnosed with AF and am now absolutely terrified of having a
colonoscopy
in case I go into AF while having the procedure.

Colonoscopy
confirmed diverticular disease and areas where infection had left scaring. Excessive bile release contributes by causing more irritation. A complete rethink of my eating habits became necessary.

Hi Everyone, I'm new to this but so glad I found it. Thought I'd introduce myself....no point in holding back!
I had to use my little private Insurance Policy to get a
Colonoscopy
in January last year. I was told that the damage to my left descending Colon was extremely significant.

Colonoscopy tomorrow, currently prepping and worried
following all advice and treatments suggested by doctors I kept having rectal bleeding for 8 months, possibly due to a chronic anal fissure according to the last GI specialist I saw, though the previous Dr’s concluded no fissure was present and one haemorrhoid that was very small..I have pushed to get a

Finally diagnosed after twenty years!
I have finally got a diagnosis of IBS after at least twenty years of endoscopies, colonoscopies, scans, investigations, etc, etc. Strangely I feel much better even though they say it's a lifelong condition with no cure. My problem today is that it's after half past six in the evening, I have had one

Endo diet and bowel symptoms
Although there was nothing sinister in the MRI she recommended a
colonoscopy
, which I'm in the process of arranging. I remember the endo diet helping before, but it was years ago, and I've never tried peppermint.

UP DATE
I've agreed to a
colonoscopy
re the DD as the symptoms I experience is not necessarily related to the Pancreas. I will have a biopsy to see if it's microscopic colitis as I have RA. If so I would have 3 months treatment . Next is a fasting lipase blood test.

Bleeding dark blood from my bottom
Today I was doing chores and found blood in my trousers 😔 I had a 2WW
colonoscopy
in March which come back clear. No piles inside or out, this was a bit hard to believe as I had a pile when I arrived. I have been feeling very dizzy. I don’t know what to do as I’m scared about everything. 😔😢

Ongoing mucus issue ibs
Ive had a full
colonoscopy
done 14 months ago and was clear. Ct with contrast of small bowel and was clear except a focal constriction but was told it was ok. I went gluten dairy free and took 1 loperamide a day and things improved since last year with the odd episode.
