Hypnotherapy
Hi - I have a question about hypnotherapy apps - I've heard there are some designed for people suffering with chronic pain but all I've been able to find are some that are more aimed at helping people to relax, and I can't see them helping. I am sceptical about the benefits of hypnotherapy (for myself

Has a cardio version caused a different arrhythmia for anybody else?
Hey all, Been a member a while but more a reader than a poster. I was pencilled in for an ablation but got cold feet and decided on a cardio version as they normally work for me. Although the cardio version put my AF back in sinus rhythm it caused tachycardia so they gave me adenosine to bring heart

CBD oil/vapes
Hi all. So after trying various medications, my doc suggested I go onto morphine. Having managed to come off the likes of tramadol, co-codamol and such, I really don't want to go down that path again. A friend suggested cbd oil and vapes. I've been taking the vape which is 500mg during the day and take

Hello😊 does anyone as afib and doing nothing like me, I have persistent chronic afib for 4y now but NOT feeling it, only the cardiologist see it with control! He advised me to take Eliquis or I could have a stroke or heart attack! I’m sure and respect he’s medical knowledge and not against medication

Success with Adderall dependence and changing medications?
Anyone have any luck changing medications while dependent on Adderall? If so, how did you do it and what if any supplements did you use? Even if it was just quitting altogether, that can be helpful too. I am not addicted, but I am definitely dependent on Adderall. Like many others. The chance to stop

Has any hypothyroidism or Hashimotos patient tried apillean weight loss supplement?
It can cost £50 to £100 per small tub in some places but it's selling but you can make this yourself at home. Alternatively according to this female doctor I spoke to at pub She said"You can use coffee instead of guarana, you can use nori seaweed if tolerated or kelp or tiny amount of wakame or if

Update
Hi I posted a couple of weeks ago about my brother who is currently in the QEB with liver disease. You all gave such helpful advice so i’m here with an update. Things have been up and down. A few days ago he finally got a room on a liver ward as opposed to the general ward, this has been much better

what do I do
my partner was diagnosed with SLE during pregnancy. We had a little boy 21/06/22 who has neonatal lupus and congenital heart block, he had a pacemaker fitted 24/04/23 so things have been hard. My partners flares are getting worse each time, we did a kidney home test and it came back positive. The hospital

Waiting For Ablation
6 weeks ago I had a successful cardioversion but sadly it lasted just 20 days before I went back into AF. Yesterday I had a follow up appointment at the hospital where they said that the results of my echo cardiogram had come back normal but that they felt that the best option for me, based on my age

What Meds ?
I've been A-Fibbing for nearly 10 years permanent. First medication was Amiodarone swelling of ankles and fatigue came off after a few months. Next up was Bisoprolol extreme fatigue. Told the GP I felt better off off of it so he said stop taking it if you want. I take Apixaban and Losartan. The latter

Is it common to get chronic nose bleeds with aps?
Just wondering as my father has been getting nose bleeds constantly lately. They've tried to cauterize (no joy) they've put a camera up the nose to try and see where it's coming from can't see anything with camera. Last year his artery's were blocked so he needed stents as it caused a heart attack. I'm
