Terrified before third eyelear injection

Its not the actual injection itself (although this is painful its very short lived) its the following days of excruciating writhing pain for the following 48hrs I'm finding difficult to cope with. 3 am Cuppa and Co-codamol Anyone...
This is the time of day that really gets to me....after finally managing to get to sleep I'm awake after 4 hours and wondering how am I going to get through another day? Today at least I can go back to sleep once the coco kicks in and not worry about being up at 6 am to get my granddaughter off to school

Frustrated!
So today I had my appointment with the Rhuemy and I'm not even sure what he's doing for me. He wants me to tell my dermatologist to take me off of my methotrexate and start me on mycophenolate, even though he admits they are very similar and do pretty much the same job. He suggested that I take co-codamol

Pain after eyelear injections
Every time I have an eyelear injection I experience severe pain. Then after the numbing drops have worn off the pain becomes very severe to the point where I'm rolling around and on the point of vomiting - the pain in my eye is almost unbearable. This goes on for three days and nights. I made a fuss

RA pain increases as day progresses
Hi I was diagnosed with RA earlier this year. I was on MTX and am still on low dose of steroids. I stopped taking the MTX about 5 weeks ago. In the last 2.5 weeks I have been in agony daily. I think I have not had more than maybe 3 days where the pain is just bearable. I saw Rheumy and Dr both told me

Tramadol, Naproxen and Co-Codamol
I was on Co-codamol for pain relief but it is not working at all. GP yesterday can my a prescription for tramadol and naproxen. Just wondered if this works for anyone, seems to be making me really drowsy, will this go when I get used to them.

Ibuprofen!
My doctor prescribed me ibuprofen for back pain along with co codamol. When the doc asked me if I had asthma I replied no but I have copd. The doctor said I would be ok to take the ibuprofen. After 3 days I am feeling breathless and wheezing but it is helping with the pain. I will go back to the docs

My first Migraine, a question
Hello all, I have head aches like everybody has head aches, you take a couple of paracetamol or drink some water and that pretty much sorts it out. Early Saturday afternoon I felt a head ache coming on, I took some paracetamols and had a drink of water, then on Sunday I couldn't move my head without

Confused, miserable and in so much pain :( :(
I had no gynaecological problems at all until around 2 years ago when my periods began to be erratic, I would have 2 periods per month and the bleeding was very heavy. I was sent for a scan which revealed I had several fibroids but none particularly large. First of all the GP tried to deal with it

Ropinirole not working
Hello everyone, I've been taking Ropinirole 0.25mg for 2 weeks for my rls. I have gradually increased my dose (now at 0.25mg x 3 per night). I haven't noticed any difference as yet and I have resorted (every 3 nights or so) to taking 2 x co-codamol 15/500mg at about 2 am as I am just desperate for sleep

Update
Hi everyone As you know I've just joined the forum. My fibroscan was 21.8 kpa and my iqr/med 6.1%. I've had various health issues that have meant for the last decade I have been on paracetamol, codeine, ibuprofen, amitriptyline. I couldn't cope with statins although I tried a few. It was around that

Personal Trainer sessions
Hey everybody, My DR advised me that loosing weight and exercise will ''help'' with my fibro but due to my weight I struggle with self-esteem (Size 14/16). I lost a lot of weight previously going from a size 22 to a small size 10, but I've quickly chucked the weight back on which I feel is putting strain

Hi Ive been researching.
Living in the UK Cannabis or related Cannabis products are strictly illegal. I have asked my GP if there is any type of Cannabis that he could prescribe. He rudely told me no way. Online I have seen a website called CBD Brothers the site has a lot of positive reviews about how the capsules/oil can

In process of diagnosis, advice please?
Hi there. Am very new to the board but hoping I'm in the right place for a bit of advice. A specialist thinks I have this, but I don't think I have 'widespread pain', as seems to be the way it's described in much of the info I'm reading about symptoms. For a number of years I've been having pain in

Fycocompa and Co-Codamol bad mix?
I have JME and take Fycompa and Lamictal for the epilepsy. Lamictal I have used for many years and I have never been a healthy bunny at the best of times, thus used co-codamol many times with it. I have a serious neuroma on my spine, so am using pain killers all the time. Recently I have found I have

Hi everyone, I've just been prescribed Ropinirole for my RLS and was wondering what other people's experience of this has been. Up until now I've been taking Co-codamol 15/500mg x 2 at night which has helped but my GP wants me to stop this and start the Ropinirole. I am also hypothyroid for which

remission gca?
Until I was diagnosed, by letter, and still no Endocrine appt, I was on 2mg Pred, and doing well. Along came the Synacthen test, and diagnosis of Addison's disease, and my world fell apart. Felt like I did, 12 years ago, when diagnosed GCA. It has been a rollercoaster ride. The stomach aches have settled
