Co codamol & tramadol

Hi. Is there anybody taking co codamol 30/500 & tramadol together?

I don't take them regularly only when things get too bad but my doctor said that taking those doses together was fine. I try not to take painkillers or any tablets but if I have to I will try naproxen first then if that fails when things are bad I will move up to cocodamol and tramadol.

I used to yes now I have moved on from co codamol using something different alongside tramadol

tramadol is not an opiate but its chemically similar

co-codamol is a mixture of codeine (an opiate) and paracetamol - you shouldn't take another medication that contains paracetamol with it. Also opiods are contra-indicated.

looks as if there are reports of side-effects when taken in conjunction with codeine but doesn't appear to be any other contra-indication.

Hi please please don't take these tablets they are dangerous addictive and ruined my life I became dependant and have lost so many years of my life I can't remember and can't get back please don't take these tablets in so many ways they destroy you your mind I just wish I'd never ever taken them xx
