Thyrozine and co-codamol
I've been taking thyrozine for years and have just been prescribed co-codamol, I was meant to believe that it's not save to take. Has anyone else been prescribed this and taken it?

Co-codamol any good for RLS or PLMD?
I asked my GP for buprenorphine. He gave me co-codamol. Does anyone have any personal experience of this opioid? I'm not in pain, but have PLMD. I'd love to know if anyone has used co-codamol - and how they took it - and what their experience of it has been.

Haemophilus influenzae
I have had an unsuccessfully treated lung infection for a year, with HI(b) being one of the bacteria identified. I have taken five different antibiotics including cotrimoxazole, doxycycline and azithromycin (two of which I've taken two courses of). I have had a lung wash, CT scans, X-rays, I am prescribed

Making a new start.
You know the situation: it’s five in the morning and there’s no chance of sleep. I can’t be the only person who ends up writing for help because there is nothing else to do while waiting for the dawn. The story so far: initially, like many of you I took Pramipexole, which allowed me to sleep, although

PIP advice
hello there. I’m looking for some thoughts regarding PIP. I will be 65 in January 24. In 2012 I had my left lung removed as a result of lung cancer. Ergo I now have 50 % less breathing capacity. I was retired early and had my pension was released. At that time I applied for DLA, and received the higher

Had enough, constant pain
have woken up in such pain today, and been in bed most Of the day. I’ve taken 2 lots of codeine, paracetamol and hot water bottle. I’ve never felt bed bound with this I can usually at least watch tv. I’m on day 4 since having my first Zoladex injection. I’m so fed up of this. Sorry a pointless message

Recently Diagnosed
I was recently diagnosed with stage 3/ 4 endometriosis after a long drawn out process of back and forth to my GP because I was in constant agonising pain and heavy periods. I have sharp stabbing pain in my lower tummy that flares up at any time throughout my menstrual cycle. My pain is always in my stomach

RLS returned after taking Duloxetine
Had RLS for many years, associated with Fibromyalgia. Having taken Amitriptylene, Nortriptyline , Pregabalin for my Fibro, my RLS has been under control. Recently started taking Duloxetine to help my Fibro and my RLS has returned with a vengeance. I get very little sleep, as soon as my head hits pillow

Any advice for pain for a broken shoulder
I will try not to offend anyone haha. Could anyone give me some advice for my husband? 3 weeks ago he had a nasty fall playing walking football he is 73 years old and very fit. He broke his shoulder, bruised his ribs and his arm turned black and blue. Since then he has been to orthopedics to check

Rheumy Appointment
Hi I have a rheumy appointment today . I’m really concerned that she will fob me off about my ‘PMR’ . I’ve seen her once before , in June . She confirmed I didn’t have GCA , which I was treated for due to symptoms of GCA . I was in on a high dose of pred - 40mg per day , she tapered me over 8weeks

GP insisting on using CRP & ESR as inflammatory markers...and managing to get a creatine kinase blood test ordered...legs are still an issue
Hello I was called in to my GP surgery yesterday, by one of the GPs, the letter indicating it was for a medication review. She's not one of the GPs I prefer to see, she can be a little vague etc. But we ended up going through my meds and she asked about steroids being on my repeat....I said that although

For more than 11 years ive been suffering with extreme itching anywhere on the body, often different parts at the same time, all those years ago i was told by gp to take antihistamines , loratadine in particular, never been even offered a blood test. I have flare ups where nothing controls the itching
