Pain Advice needed!
I saw a gynaecologist today to get scheduled in for my first laparoscopy within the next couple months. My transvaginal ultrasound didn't show anything abnormal but she still suspects endometriosis based on my symptoms. My bowel is apparently pretty backed up due to my painkillers and she's advised that

Oh my goodness, a horrendous night!!!
Out of the blue I had a horrendous night last night, despite patches and Co-codamol, it was awful. This does happen, but it was sooo bad I really get so stressed, angry, upset, completely exhausted and so depressed.

4AM thoughts
Tried to get an early night last night, and cut down on the co-codamol. Ended up watching Family Guy til 4am after multiple attempts to sleep.. I feel like I’m wasting my life away, feel like I’m a shadow of my former self. I see my friends going on holidays and finishing their degrees and doing phd

Hi, In 2008, just 8 weeks after having my first child, I went back to work and was attacked by a patient at a care home I was visiting to train staff. The patient struck me on my right shoulder and caused me to buckle me to my knees. The chain reaction caused the vertebrae in the top of my neck to lock

Rotigotine patches
I have been using these patches for a year or so, they do work on an ad-hoc basis, and I have had to up the dose. I take them in conjunction with Co-codamol - they used to help my RLS on their own, but as with most drugs, the effects eventually wear off sadly.....

Hi Everyone I'm new to the community, and I am looking for any advice or tips to manage 24/7 pain. I fell and damaged my back back in late 2013. Slipping my T7-8 T11-12 L4-5 and L5-S1. As you can imagine I was in a conciderable amount of pain. After having 3 MRI scans and going trough numerous painkillers

No pain killers help? Help! two weeks of endless pain
Panadol, panadol extra, panadol extra soluble, paracetamol, codeine. In the past I have tried ibuprofen and aspirin but am not allowed that because of stomach ulcers I might have. (those pain killers don't help either anyway) HELP! please. I have had this unbearable pain for two weeks and a day 24/7

Got to the Rheumy this time!
I had my Rheumy appointment today ( after missing it on Friday). This is the second time I have seen Dr Hughes in Chertsey and both times I have found him so reassuring. This appointment was so important for me as I have been in a lot of pain, especially in my right thigh, both knees and my right hip
