PAIN RELIEF?

I have been on Co-codamol for the last 12 years for another problem osteoarthritis and think I have got immune to them!!! but I am wondering if If or how do I go about getting ametatriplyne ( sorry 4 my spellings ) I am no Doctor or medically trained as I think that they could be adding to my problem!!! as it's a vicious circle I get the pain try to leave it as long as possible but have admit to defeat and end up in so much pain I just have to take them any help please??? OH we will be having maintenance done to this forum 31st Oct 23 so no more posts that day just when I was getting used to it

if you speak to your gp they can prescribe ametatriplyne, I found it made me very drowsy and spaced out so you might get on better by trying it first at bedtime just in case as it effects everyone differently but I never found it did anything for my pain however you taking codeine will not be good for your bowels so I would definitely talk to your gp as they don’t even need a gastro to prescribe ametatriplyne as it’s a first line drug for Ibs pain etc. good luck
