I wrote a post on here a few weeks ago.i was worried about a recall for a chest X-ray saying something had shown up on the bottom lobe on my left lung. You lovely people told me not to worry. I should've listened instead I've fretted since then but the results from a second X-ray came back clear today

acid reflux
Hi there, I had an oesophagectomy 3 years ago. I take Lanzoprazole 30mg twice daily. I am having the most vile acid reflux, it wakes me up and then I am unwell for 2 - 3 days afterwards. I have had a barium swallow, and a chest x-ray, nothing was found on these. Has anyone any tips for stopping the acid

MPD life and Professor Harrison
Hi Maz. Have noticed that I haven't had a copy of MPD newsletter this year. Has my subscription run out? I also watched a video of a forum in 2014 when Prof. Harrison talked about the latest research but can not now locate it. Am a bit wobbly right now because I had another blood test last week

Lump on chest wall 3 months after surgery!!
I had a lobectomy at the end of February as I had a 5.5cm mass in my middle lobe. After being told by the consultant and surgeon that it was unlikely to be cancer, the results came through as stage 2A mucinous adenacarcinoma. I have recovered well, have some nerve pain but nothing too severe. 3 months

Kidney Biospsy
Hi everyone. I found out I had CKD following a routine blood test in September, then eGRF 58, doctor asked me to come back in 3 months, when it was then eGRF46 and it continued to drop to a low of eGRF28 by end of Feb. This was possibly caused, according to the nephrologist, by use of ibuleve gel,

I don't think it is anxiety
Hey everyone.i will try and keep it quick as it will take forever to cover my last 12 months in detail so I will just add my feelings/symptoms. Head pressure/lightheaded (not dizzy though) Dull ache in my left arm, left side of my chest under the armpit and lower left stomach. Weird breathing like I'm

Muscle/nerve/anxiety pains or heart pains?
A bit of background - I have been suffering from anxiety for around 4 years now. Early last year I managed to get a lot of my symptoms under control and I went most of the year with relatively low anxiety/pain. However, around October, I started getting sharp and aching pains in my arms, hands, neck,

Post PE pains
I'm a relatively fit 46-year-old male who had a straddled submassive PE in April, with no known cause. Thankfully the medical team used catheter-directed thrombolysis to dissolve the clots almost completely over a 24 hour period. Since leaving the hospital, I've had a tightness in my throat and a slight

Delayed 2nd FCR 🙄
Well I was mentally prepared for my 2nd FCR on May 8th but not physically it seems. I had my blood tests today and my WBC was down from 149 to 1.9, fantastic! But my neutrophils are also 1 so I can't have it. I'd be really grateful for some neutrophils info as I'm fairly ignorant in this area. Should

Chest Pain at 19?
Hey guys! I recently had tonsillitis about a 1.5 months ago and was treated with penicillin. I came of the antibiotics a tad early as was feeling better but could feel it coming back so I jumped back on the penicillin. I was still really tired after finishing my antibiotics and was told to get a blood
