Pain - where my pain comes from! (2)
I used to visit, my GP for annual bloods, the results = nothing unusual all normal every single year on year. My visits to the GP were mainly due to the constant pain, nightmares and fatigue, we talked in the 15 minute allocated slot to determine my future! I have Pain surely I need pain killers? I

Does anybody suffer from HPT high pain threshold?
I am almost immune to pain killers, my system has reached such a level. I slashed my hand by accident, but tried to chat up the doctor whilst she stitched up my hand, I can get injections, no bother! BUT if I got a heart attack, my brain might not recognise it properly? I regularly would break a rib

Frustrated
Things have been OK, but just lately I have started to have problems with my eyes and nose (very dry) and, the
chronic
fatigued has returned along with joint
pain
in my hands. I should have seen my consultant back in September but had heard nothing by January.

I'm new, irrational fear of surgery help and pain medication not working.
Hello, I am soon to be 20 and have recently been told I very likely have endometriosis. On one hand it was amazing to know that something can be done about this but on the other hand comes all of the questions along with a potential diagnosis. I am to start on the contraceptive implant that will hopefully

Hi everyone, I was referred by my GP last October to the gynaecologist and I have just received my appointment for mid September due to ongoing horrendous ovulation symptoms (leg pain, extreme fatigue, brain fog and pain) and also ongoing pain to the right side of my pelvis also tender when pressed

So I recently had two visits at the Mayo Clinic and had genetic testing along with ct scans. I’m “normal” karyotype, unmutated igh, unmutated tp53. I’m being transferred from my hematologist to a Cll specialist and in general…I feel pretty lucky. One thing my doc said though was that I was likely to

Pain four months after hip replacement surgery
Hello there, I'm writing on behalf of my mum. I was wondering if anyone could please give us some advice. Mum is 76. She has osteoarthritis and had a new hip four months ago. She was recovering well after 12 weeks, but then developed pain in the knee below the new hip. She saw a physio who said her legs

Hospital stay
so last week I had a HUGE flare up of diverticulitis (its seems to be a family curse) Thursday I had a bit of pain, didn't think anything about it. Friday it got so bad that on my way home I stopped by the walk in clinic and the PA thought I possibly had a severe groin strain or very mild hernia because

Ectopic pregnancy help please - super freaking out! 😞
I’m (at the moment) experiencing a PUL as too early/hcg too low to pick up on ultrasound. Dr advised that I “wait to see what happens” … I go back tomorrow for another US (though they still aren’t confident they’ll see anything as hcg hardly risen) She then talked about non intervention management

Background: I've been suffering with
chronic
pelvic
pain
and pain during sex. I've been through my doctors and I'm on soooo many pain killers. They did a laproscopy as there's a lot of endo in my family and the symptoms I have! They said there was no endo and there was excess faeces in the bowel.

Pain support
good morning I am new to this forum. I am undergoing bloods, x-rays etc to see why I am in constant pain, but my Dr has said Osteoarthritis in my knees and possibly fibromyalgia. I have pain in my knees for approx 8 years and the rest of the pain around 2. There are days/nights where I cry in pain.

Relapse of CLL
Has anyone who had relapsed CLL had strong CLL symptoms prior to that diagnosis? I have blood work in a few weeks but my CLL symptoms have been very prevalent for a month now, and was curious if those were signs of having the CLL diagnosis again?

Travelling on public transport with liver disease
Hi all, this is not quite the first post from me - have tried to answer a couple of questions some while back - but could really do with some help for myself now. I've not been diagnosed with liver disease but am pretty sure I have it - weight loss, fluid retention and also - for nearly thirty years
