Hi everyone,
I was referred by my GP last October to the gynaecologist and I have just received my appointment for mid September due to ongoing horrendous ovulation symptoms (leg pain, extreme fatigue, brain fog and pain) and also ongoing pain to the right side of my pelvis also tender when pressed that is pretty much always there but mostly dull and then can spasm or be worse on certain days. I had an ultrasound last summer and it came back clear. However, on Monday I was sent to A&E as this pain on my right side was quite bad and also accompanied by high temp, high pulse, nausea, constipation, vomiting and diarrhoea so my GP needed to rule out appendicitis. Bloods & ultrasound came back clear so consultant said it's likely to be gynaecological and she'll send all this info over in time for my appointment in September. Whilst I was waiting in hospital, I also had the most horrendous leg pain (I get it often) but hadn't had it this bad for a while. It's just a constant ache/throbbing/burning all over my leg, I need to ask for strong pain killers but they didn't really question this symptom just gave me the strong pain killers!
I am relived that I didn't have to have my appendix removed this week but part of me knew everything would come back clear so that is frustrating that I still don't know what is wrong with me. There is endo in my family, both aunties have it which i why I pushed for my referral so everything is pointing more and more to that. My periods can be okish, some months worse than others and if my period comes during the night- it's the worst pain, sickness, dizziness but often eases with pain killers and by morning. I tend to have more impacting symptoms around ovulation that affect my daily life extreme fatigue, leg/back pain, right sided pain.
Anyone else with ENDO have appendicitis like symptoms? I guess I'm just looking to see if I am going down the right route of seeking an endo diagnosis.
Thank you!
