Was on duloxetine for depression but wasent helping although did with the chronic pain, consultant took me off this and put me on venlafaxine which is helping with me mental health but not pain. I am on and have been on various painkillers and the only one i have not tried is noritryptiline.

Hi. I fractured my spine (L2) in May this year. It's severely increased my lower back pain that I've had for years. Now I can do little, such as housework, walking for long, standing for more than a few minutes before legs go weak etc. I'm unable to take any painkillers apart from Paracetamol

I was diagnosed with bulging discs and osteoarthritis of the spine a few months ago. I've tried lots of painkillers other medication including tramadol, gabapentin, pregabalin, naproxen, nothing has helped. I was given codydramol which helped taking the edge off the pain. Not knowing if I will wake with chronic pain is horrific for me at this time. Doctors and specialist just increase doses of medication.

I am bed ridden for 95% of the time mainly due to chronic pain in my lower back area. This prevents me from staying in a seated position for less than 1 hour. Do any others suffer this kind of chronic pain? My neurologist isn't helpful with my pain issue.
