Looking for tips to deal with Nocturia related to my PD. Each night for the past several years, I have gotten up every hour on the hour to urinate. I make sure to get adequate hydration each day, but don't drink anything, other than to take meds, after dinnertime. I have orthostatic hypotension, so some of the meds that are available to treat Nocturia, are unavailable to me. I just read that extended release Carbidopa/Levodopa taken at bedtime could be a solution. Anyone know anything about this?

How's your serum sodium level? If it's not low you might be a candidate for nighttime desmopressin. Desmopressin mimics the effects of vasopressin, a hormone that helps keep urine production down at night. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articl...
Bowen Therapy has specific procedures to help with nocturia. Ask your Bowen Therapist to treat you and to teach you self-help moves.
Homeopathic Plantago from Heel is also very helpful. Take 10-15 drops in your water during the day to build up bladder control.
Definitely worth trying a controlled release dose of C/L at bedtime. My doctor also prescribed oxybutynin to calm my bladder down. Definitely helped, but I'm not sure whether you would be able to take it .And try to reduce your caffeine intake, if applicable.
Good luck!
In the UK there’s a supplement called Jude, mostly contains pumpkin seed extract. I haven’t tried it myself but the website is informative on all things bladder related and the reviews are very positive both on the Jude website and others. Botox injection is another treatment when medications are not appropriate. Hope you find some help.
My husband too has the same problem. I follow.
