After countless years with chronic migraine and the failure of every intervention that I’ve had I have now been prescribed Flunarazine and then when it comes available the tablet form of Atogepant.
I would really appreciate any feedback on either of the drugs and/or any side effects as I’m extremely sensitive to drugs …
many thanks Jo

I've had Atogepant and been absolutely fine with it. However I do tend to tolerate drugs pretty well, only ever having difficulty with Topiramate. I wish you luck.
What type of migraines are you having there's numerous types of headaches and migraines, I was in a right state with cluster headaches, they are the worst known pain to mankind, they are often referred to as 'suicide headaches ' they are brutal.Original i was put on propananol , worked for around a month, then numerous trips to the doctors, eventually a neurologist, a diagnosis was made, then put onto topiramate which worked well, but the headaches came back with a vengeance, even after going upto the maximum dosage.
Next stage was the specialist recommended a nerve block injection in the base of the skull, no luck with that either, finally a " cure " verapamil and sumaptrapin self injecting pens, the injection worked if you caught the headache quickly enough, and a slow introduction to verapamil, eventually the tablets kicked in and I'm free from these agonising headaches, I get a occasional throbbing sensation, but on a pain scale of 10 down to 1or 2 its manageable now, the cluster headaches are so bad they can use oxygen therapy at home, only if you don't smoke or have open fires, the risk of explosions is quite high, hope this helps you on your difficult journey!
