Singulair - Flu Like Symptoms Side Effect
Hey All! A little bit of background on me. Early October I was infected with COVID-19, I’m 4 times vaxxed, and while it was only two days of symptoms, I ended up with SOB on day 3 which later turned into Long COVID. I was prescribed Flovent and Salbutamol by the ER Doctor, my NP then prescribed me Symbicort

Myelin Sheath Repair
This isn't technically a B12 question but since a lot of us have peripheral neuropathy I thought I'd post it here. Has anyone read about a newly discovered use for an old antihistamine, clemastine? They say it can repair the myelin sheath for MS patients. Here is a blurb I read: "[i]Now, researchers

Versus arthritis leaflet on steroids and PMR
I picked up a leaflet/booklet from Versus Arthritis about Steroid tablets in a hospital the other day and I think it would be useful particularly to those new to PMR/taking steroids. An updated new version is available free to download or you can order a free paper copy from them via their website.

nebuliser recommendations?
I’m hoping to give nebulised saline a go and was wondering is there much difference in types of nebulisers? It would be for the low % saline as this hasn’t been prescribed by my consultant. Thought it may help to clear some much (chronic bronchitis) as I seem to be tied all the time lately- chest feel

thrush ahead of FET
Hi there. I’ve been on a course of 2 strong types of antibiotics due to an infection caused by an ectopic pregnancy. It has seemingly caused me to get thrush (must be connected as haven’t had thrush for about 20 years). I’m likely to be having my next FET in approximately 3 weeks so is taking an over

Covid
I tested positive for Covid on Thu. 16th March and I have had an email telling me I am "vunerable". I have asthma as well as CLL, on W&W for CLL. I am 80 years old. I did the test and phoned the result through and answered all the questions. I was told someone would contact me. Well, I am still

High LDL cholesterol associated with lower COVID mortality
This article was pretty interesting. Data from China indicate that high LDL cholesterol levels are associated with lower COVID mortality. LDL cholesterol plays an important role in immune response. Modern societies demonization of LDL could be hurting immunity. This is just an n of one, but I have been

Covid jab now?
Has anyone in UK heard when we will get our next 6th covid jab. I’ve messaged my GP surgery but had no response. Our friend in France says they are being done there. As I’m classed as vulnerable I will be happy when have it, even if have side effects, don’t usually last.

Hearing loss post covid
Has anyone else had hearing loss post Covid? I’ve had this now for about six weeks, accompanied by head and neck pains and a sore mouth; also a kind of object less anguish which is hard to navigate. And tiredness of course. Recent blood tests were fine. Lupus consultant recommended I ask GP for an ENT

Does anyone suffer from terrible heat in veins and arteries(skin) yet raynaud's at the same time? But can also be shaking with cold inside - if that makes sense! I have Sjogren's and Systemic sclerosis but all the Doctors ignore the intolerable symptom of hot and cold I suffer

OsteoArthritis v RA
Having had RA diagnosed some 4 years now the majority of my pain is focused on my left knee which I injured in 2017. Recent flaring and RA activity has been largely rooted in that knee and have had three steroid injections since Christmas. The most latest one was in response to searing pain in the knee

Cold medication
Hello, I think I may be coming down with a cold. I seldom get one and usually rely on Beecham hot lemon powders or similar. However I am now on edoxaban and Bisoprolol and I am wondering what cold medication, other than paracetamol, it is safe to take? Thanks in advance, for any advice!

Can you help?
Please be kind, and don't judge me! For many reasons I won't go into now, I made the difficult decision not to get vaccinated. As I am immunosuppressed on Methotrexate, prednisolone and humira, I have been keeping away from people for the past year - and it's been the hardest year of my life! I would
