Itchy ear

Hi all I have too much itchy in my left ear. Which one is a big hole inside. I can’t use any ears drops because of the hole .antihistamine ointment doesn’t work. recently dr gave me fexofenadine hydrochloride tablets 120mg . it’s not work. dr referred me to ENT again but I don’t know when I get appointment. any suggestions for me from anyone please help. thank you.

Hello sun 🙂 I have itchy ears .. They're fine as long as I don't put anything in them - HAs included. As soon as I do they start to itch. ENT have told me not to wear them. What's this hole in your ear? Can you say a bit more?

Hole in my left ear. Dr said I have to be very careful when I do shower.lots of infection from my childhood but wasn’t tinnitus . my right ear was good but suddenly loss hearing and start tinnitus in my right ear. Now I have tinnitus in both ears.

OK. Do you mean a hole in the eardrum? That lets fluid thru to the middle ear?

yes . now no infection from long time . recently always feel itchy also feel full sensation like something stuck.

Hopefully you won't have to wait too long for ENT but you could always ask your GP to fast track you. It's worth a try.

yes Dr gave me today fenafexodine hydrochloride 120mg tablets . Dr said it’s strong power but I feel scared to take it.

Why don't you talk to your GP? Tell him your concerns. I always ask my GP for the lowest dose possible - if I need to take anything.
