Still not sure
Still not sure whats wrong with me and its making me nervous again. I had a colonoscopy done which showed my colon was normal. I felt good after the colonoscopy but then a week or 2 later I was constipated again. Im still having random sharp pains in my anus/rectum, stabbing pains in my back and stomach

Periods??
Ok don't really like this subject but when I was diagnosed 13 years ago it was because my periods had completely stopped. Now I have gone to the other end of the spectrum and that my periods can be horrendous to point I cant move as it's hurts and is almost as if my legs wouldn't work. I can't move today

Laparoscopy diagnosis healthy : confused
Hi I recently had a laparoscopy on monday to identify causes of my pelvic pain...extremely painful periods, pain when having sex, and random 'pulling' pains in my pelvic region. My lap diagnosed a healthy uterus with no sign of endometriosis. Although I feel really grateful that i have a healthy uterus

Worried
Hi everyone. I haven't been diagnosed with endometriosis but I'm worried I may have it as I have been getting a lot of symptoms of it: irregular bleeding, cramps, pain during sex etc. I also have a family history of endometriosis and abnormal smear results. I was wondering what people's first symptoms

Upcoming smear test
I have my first smear test in the next few weeks. I was wondering what it will be like. Will I be asked any questions before hand? What is the general experience of the procedure like. How does it compare to a internal exam or internal ultrasound. I am wanting to know as doctors appointments in general

BOWELS PACE!!
Good afternoon fellow runners I awoke this morning absolutely knackered. I wanted to go on my 8K run about as much as I wanted to smear yoghurt all over my buttocks and roll in some nettles! However I forced myself to get up and got myself ready. Shorts and top, socks with a hole in (they'd do for this

Blood Count...Eh? What does this mean?
Hi all Due to see the Haematologist on Monday for the first time since diagnosis a couple or three weeks ago and after looking through posts on this most informative site I have taken the advice and obtained my FBC from the GP. I think I understand that the right hand side is the ideal figures you need

Not sure what to think
I'm currently frightened to death, my doctors decided on Friday to try and do a Smear test, she said I had a short cervix, then made me bleed, even though I said I was bleeding on and off. Now today I've started my period properly. I did also say that I'm on and off my period but get a full period at

Nervous breakdown
First of all let me say that I have had a similar breakdown two other times in my life. Both of which were at really stressful times of my life. Here is where I'm at, and I hope you guys can provide some light on the situation. I just graduated college and have my degree, however at the beginning of

Menstrual cycle
Hello, I have had my period 4 times this month. On the last one, I was so weak and dizzy that I had to stay off work for 2 days, because bleeding is very heavy as well. I am not pregnant, not on the pill. Has always been normal every 4 weeks like a clock. Taking MMS and warfarin 9-10 mg on alternative

Advice please
Hi ladies, This is going to be quite a long one. Went to the colposcopy clinic yesterday (I had pre cancerous cells removed a few years ago) for hopefully what is my last yearly smear, and I spoke to her about my problems with endometriosis. She said there is no way I should have to wait that long to

How can we teach NHS workers with our experience?
I'm 4 weeks post-lap right now, and I haven't been here for a while due to the fact that I was just exhausted with the subject in general. My history (as brief as I can be, which isn't very...): I struggled with period pain from the start, heavy bleeding, then rupturing ovarian cysts, then 8 years ago
