Painful sex after laparoscopy
Hi I had a laparoscopy three weeks ago and a smear test. Endermetriosis was found on both ovaries and removed I've never had pain after sex before but this is like a stinging. I had swabs taken after surgery just as routine after the smear test I'm hoping I'm just a little bit raw inside still and

My Endo Story
I know posts really should be short, brief and to the point but I haven't really been in the position to express what I have been through and this forum seems the most appropriate way to off load. I started my period initially when I was 11/12 and then they ceased. I think this may have been (under)

Self diagnosis of Endometriosis, waiting to see Dr, just been told I have a prolapse too!
Hello For years now I have put up with pain. I've been told it's IBS, then got put on the pill which I hate and really don't get on well with at all. Put it this way, I have panic attacks and depression on the pill, lose who I am. But I did it out of a step of faith. Had to come off it as was so ill

Bleeding days after Laparoscopy
I had my laparoscopy a week ago now, I was told to expect a little bleeding (Menstrual) as they did a smear test at the same time. However, this is a week later and I am STILL bleeding, and its getting slightly heavier. But the blood is quite bright, new blood and not the dark red menstrual blood usually

Bit silly, but I can't help worrying I have cancer.
So my story (bear with me please) - I've had a lot of problems since young having ovarian cysts (usually treated with medication, use to (painful) bleed all the time so had an endometrial ablation in 2009 (which stopped my periods completely), pain never got better then few years later found out I have

Please give me advice! Irregular bleeding and more...
Hi (new here), I've had heavy irregular bleeding for a long time now, over 3 years, I also suffer with nausea and IBS symptoms. Bloated almost always! I've already gone to GP for a pain in my right side and he suspected it was my appendix or kidneys (but it wasn't when tested) although when they did

Off Topic - Mother aged 25 died of cervical cancer and was repeatedly told she could not have a test because she was too young.

I've been keeping the good(GAD) news to myself because I fear if I tell it something bad will happen. But that's selfish(here's a pic of me)
I haven't posted in while. So hello all. First I wanted to ask am I the only one who keeps their good news or positive news to themselves because they fear if they say something or tell someone about it it will bring them bad luck? I have always been like this. I think is is not a good way to live but

Constant bleeding and brown discharge for months?
Hello, Not sure if I'm posting this in the right place so apologies if not. I'm really worried and hoping someone can put my mind at rest. I'm 37 (not sure if this is relevant but I'm still breastfeeding my 23 month old a few times a day) My periods returned about 18 months ago and has been regular

8 week scan.. not good news 😞
So had my 8 week scan on Friday and unfortunately I lost it at about 6 weeks. I've had no warning except I didn't have many pregnancy symptoms so knew deep down it wouldn't be there at our scan. We've got to go the early pregnancy clinic on Tuesday morning to decide what to do next. I was adamant Friday

Scared
Hi on christmas Eve I joyfully told my min my cervical smear test results had come back negative. She said I've accidentally opened your blue crest results for cancer screening and the result is positive. I've now for the letter and it says there's a psychology it could be other codified instead and

Cervical screening
Hi I am new here results of my smear in 2015 were low grade dyskaryosis with no evidence of HPV infection. As I am over 50 next screening is not until 2020. Due to my sister being diagnosed with advanced cervical cancer I asked GP for a follow up test sooner to be told not possible. Is this correct?

Hi The results of my last smear test in April 2015 showed low grade dyskaryosis with no evidence of HPV infection as I am 54 my next screening is not due until 2020.
