My Day for Catheter Ablation
Well, tomorrow is my day with
catheter
ablation
. It was scheduled for two weeks ago, but my doc put it off until tomorrow. I am glad he didn't put it off any longer than he did because my shortness of breath is getting worse. I just hope it works as well for me as it did for some of you.

Anyone had an Endometrial Ablation?
Hi there! I'm 26 and I was diagnosed as having endometriosis and adhesions when I was about 18. Had a laparoscopy in 2010 and it helped for a little while, but things have become so bad again that I'm fainting during my period every month without fail. Saw a new gynae Consultant a few weeks ago and

One year on
In a weeks time its been a year since I had my cardiac ablation. For those of you on this site from that long ago may remember my build up to having it as I was always reading and posting on here because I was terrified. Cardiac Ablation
I had a cardiac ablation last July 2015 after having A-Fib 40+ years. I now pop into A-Fib every two months. My cardiologist says if it starts to happen more often, he will repeat the procedure. Has anyone else had this done twice and did that work?

Am I really an 'enigma'?
I had
catheter
ablation
in November 2014 but was told I would probably need a 2nd. Medication provided was Sotalol 80mg twice daily and Rivaroxaban (Xarelto) 20mg once daily. The 80mg Sotalol does not agree with me as it makes me feel very tired and lethargic. My GP agreed.

Second opinion definitely worth it!!
I had my second opinion today at a different hospital and it went very well. All the staff were very friendly and the consultant listened to me. I was told by the previous consultant that my only options were endometrial ablation or a hysterectomy. Today I finally got told that it sounds like I have
