Endometrial Ablation
Hi there. I'm booked in for E A next month and would like to know of any experiences people have had. I'm 36 and have had trouble my entire pubescent < life with endo symptoms with no actual endo, bleed for 2 weeks every month. Highly frustrating especially since no contras work (I've tried them ALL)

Post av node ablation palpitations
I had av node ablation April 11 this year after 4 years of more of less permanent AF. Since the procedure the frequency of palpitations or ectopic beats has increased from every now and then to almost constant. There seems to be no info on how many is too many but since I have 15 to 20 per minute every

I am now 5 weeks post cardiac ablation and for the past two weeks have suffered with breathing problems and a dry, non-productive cough. I saw my PCP last week and he put me on Medrol for a 6 day period. I also had a chest x-ray which showed nothing. Today I saw my regular cardiologist (not my EP), and

catheter ablation or balloon cryoablation?
I am seeing my GP next with a view to a referral back to cardiologist as I am looking at if I could have a
catheter
ablation
. In doing some research I came across balloon cryoablation which appears far better, more likely to succeed even though I accept every has risks.

Could a
catheter
or balloon
ablation
be tried or even a cardioversion. My medication at present, and has been for some while consists only of Bisoprolol at 10mg, 5mg twice a day.

Woke up in AF
I had a bad night due to the symptoms that have prevailed due to the urinary
catheter
(removed on the day of the
ablation
) that was necessary during my ablation 12 days ago. Each time I woke up I felt my heart missing beats - slightly different to my recent Ectopics.

AFib Catheter Ablation Circulation Issues
I had my AFib
Catheter
Ablation
on Thursday, and noticed on Sunday night that I have a lump above the right groin insertion site. Also, I have had issues on the right side of my body, which caused me to limp a little when I walked and my right arm and fingers felt a bit almost numb.

Upcoming Cardiac Ablation (NERVOUS)
Good morning everyone... I am 27 years old... I was diagnosed to have a not so normal beat in June of this year right after I passed out twice the same day... Ever since my pulse has been in the low 40's...I started metropolol 25mg x2 day about a month ago... cardiologist did a holter monitor and went

AV node ablation . What does success mean?
I have been following recent posts on AV node ablation. I am interested because I am a worst case scenario person and I like to know what may be at the end of the road for me. As I am unable to have any more ablations this may be an ultimate option for me if the good old flecanide stops doing its job

Hip, Pelvis, Groin and Lower Back Pain. Help needed as Difficulty with standing and walking.
Really struggling with pain in hips, groin, pelvis and lower back, which is making walking and standing still even more difficult than usual. My usual GP is away until the 24th so I've left a message with rheumatology. Previous advice was to try to stay out of the wheelchair. (Rheumatology have said

PAF and lying down
I've had one
catheter
ablation
(June 2015) which improved things enormously but think I now need another one. I'm not on any heart medication as they either don't work or are not recommended as I have LBBB. I take Apixaban. Any-one else suffer from this?

Gender differences in catheter ablation for AF
The best article I found was on Medscape and if you don't want to log in then a Google search on 'atrial fibrillation
catheter
ablation
in females' may take you in directly.

My experience of Catheter Ablation for the treatment of Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation.
Hello all, I wanted to share my recent experience of having a
Catheter
Ablation
. Hopefully this will help some people make their own decision about having one done and also help to put any anxious minds to rest for the ones who are waiting for the procedure to take place.

Marks on chest after catheter ablation
hi, I was just wondering if anyone can enlighten me. I had my ablation 17 days ago under general anaesthetic. I had a week off work afterwards during which I mainly sat in lovely sunshine. After a few days seemingly as I tanned, I noticed two marks, one on either side of my chest. They look like big

After Av node ablation
Had an av node ablation April 11 this year. After about the second week the palpitations began and have continued all day and night since. EP sent me back to cardio doctor who says they are nothing to worry about. Today cardio doc said to increase the bp med carvedilol to 25 mg from 12.5 at evening

SVT recurring 5 years after ablation in 11 yr old son. Seek 2nd ablation?
Hi I would welcome advice or similar stories from anyone in the AA community please. Our son was diagnosed with SVT when 2 years old. After 4 years of increasingly severe and disruptive symptoms, for which medication was not helping he was admitted to Alder Hey children's hospital for cardiac ablation
