Hi ladies how is everyone doing? I hope that everyone is ok considering 💞 baby dust to you all 😘
Well as for me I had my apppintment with General gynae to discuss my bleeding issues. Which have made me anaemic, GP is prescribing iron supplements which are a gods send 👍 gynae reminded me to have a full count blood test this month I pretended it was arranged lol what am I like!😂
Luckily I've have had distractions like college and voulterering teaching assistant at a school to help pass time and take my mind off babies a bit 😃
Gp said prior to appointment they'd both discussed endometrial ablation they thought that was my best option. And asked if I could still have children he said yes! Gynae did not agree and said it was not recommended for woman who want a future pregnancy yes please! I have read online and it backs up gynae. Same consultant as last September was better this time 😃
2 choices are;
1) go on pill or coil ( in order to hopefully regulate and normalise my cycles)
2) to be re referred to an NHS fertilty clinic.( to gynaes colleagues)
I'm baffled by it all to be honest don't know what to think.
I also explained to him that we had been refereed to a fertilty clinic in 2013 and had been told it was ivf or trying and NHS won't fund us as I have a son from a previous relationship.
Also told him I had 3 progesterones blood tests two indicated ovulation one didn't . He thought I should get Clomid. To help normalise my cycles and help me fall. Actually surprised me was the first medical person to believe and agree with me our infertilty is not unexplained! 😳
He said he'll put the two choices in writing and I've booked an appointment to see GP 5th May to discuss this further with him. 😏
I wondered if you lovely ladies have been in this situation and if it is possible to get second referral to an NHS fertility clinic. Gynae thinks I've got good grounds for referral.Any advice gladly appreciated! Thanks for reading and being there . I apologise for my moaning 😘
