Hi
I had suffered a
cardiac
arrest
, permanent kidney damage, had a tracheotomy and was on 24hr continuous haemofiltration. I didn’t think it could get much worse until I finally saw my feet and legs. They were black and I was told I needed to have both legs amputated below knee.

Can I trust my 1st ever Endo's advice?
I had my first ever Endo appt today that left me quite overaught and teary all afternoon. My Gp had assured me that the Endo she had referred me to had an interest in Thyroid, so assumed she would be NDT friendly. No, she wasn't, and she lectured me on how bad NDT was as you can never trust NDT to be

Sick, tired, only got one run in the last 2 weeks...
I've got 'flu (proper 'flu with 102F at times) and it has been going on for 2 weeks. This explains why you have not seen me post, except as comments. On Saturday I was in Hoddesdon, Herts, for a conference (warning: conferences when you have 'flu are horrible), I thought I was getting better, but it

Low pressure after cardiac ablation
I had cardiac ablation two weeks ago for Afib. Four days ago, I started having very low blood pressure—72/54, or lower. Has anyone else experienced this?

Biopsy all over
Good morning everyone. I had my biopsy on Monday the worst part was one of the anaesthetic injections to numb the area. After that I didn't feel the biopsy itself. I had three taken and developed the tip of shoulder pain immediately. This eased off during the 2 hour period of lying on my side. Afterwards

So scared of dying and death
Reading about a fit and healthy teen who randomly had a
cardiac
arrest
or a student who ate 5 day old pasta and died from food poisoning or someone randomly getting stabbed on the street. It scares me to think this can happen to anyone at any time.

Recovering brain
I have a brain injury following a
cardiac
arrest
in Sep 2017. My blog really helps get everything I am thinking about out of my head. It would be good to think that like minded people are reading it. Anyway here is the link - it's a bit basic but I am proud of it.
