Last Monday I had a sudden cardiac arrest

I was resuscitated by colleagues with CPR and 1shock

Any idea of how long the musculoskeletal pain takes to go

I find the worse time in the early hours of the morning

Thanks

Hi good to hear you survived. How long was your CPR? Any ribs break?

I had about 25mins CPR & my chest hurt for months. On and off it still does. It was over 2.5 years ago now yet in jan I had a bad spell which freaked me out. Got stress tested & all good. Exploring options that it’s some kind of inflammation that flares up. Possibly damaged cartilage/nerves etc

Good luck and rest up

Thank you for sharing your experience

I have had my icd fitted yesterday

Onwards and upwards now ....feel very lucky to be here 😀

Hi, I too had a cardiac arrest 2.5 years ago and it was about 6 months probably more actually till pain went. Like Pinnelli I still do have times when it feels like an elephant has walked over me BUT in the grand scheme of things we are alive to tell the tale. It will ease over time, promise. Wishing you all the very best x
