Travel Insurance - What a palaver!
In late 2016 I was diagnosed with slightly elevated blood pressure during a routine health check. In summer 2017 I went to my GP after realising that I was becoming breathless with mild exertion and, to cut a long story short, I was diagnosed with heart failure and started on a range of medications ‘

Normal routine CT Scan ?
I think I am on edge as I went for my biopsy two years ago and it went pear shaped and I had a
cardiac
arrest
and a mini Tia stroke and that was brought on by the procedure. I am a nervous wreck now when I have anything done to me especially when it is invasive.

I try to unearth the kind of diet they followed.

Young Adult with Cardiac Arrest
I’m really hoping there may be someone my age (25 almost 26) who experienced
cardiac
arrest
recently. I went into
cardiac
arrest
on Sept 20th 2018 while I was at the hospital for an outpatient scan.

My Father is ready to give up on dialysis
I need help my father was put on dialysis after a
cardiac
arrest
in 2017. He knew he was heading towards dialysis because of his Gfr before the heart attack. He is very frustrated with his level of care at the center and that makes wanting to go to treatment 3x a week very hard.

Lung Cancer for over 10 years and still going strong. It can take its toll on our nerves. I am only human after all.
I knew that I had a stroke but later on they informed me that I had a
cardiac
arrest
and I was out for 5 minutes or so. They said it was caused by a air embolism which was brought on from having the needle biopsy.

Scared after losing my Mum...
I lost my mum on Tuesday just gone after she suffered a
cardiac
arrest
9 days before. She had no history of heart disease but did suffer from high blood pressure, she wasn't active as she was classified disabled with severe arthritis in her knees, she also smoked.

Continuing high dose of statin following cardiac arrest.
My GP states that following a
cardiac
arrest
it is normal to remain on a high dose indefinitely. This is the highest daily dose that is prescribed. With my history and now even lower cholesterol is this necessary?

. with so many changes so quickly it’s been a real culture shock of lifestyle, diet and fitness. My brain is functioning back to normal and look forward to returning to work in 3 months.
