I’m thinking about swapping my meds to nighttime. I currently take a combination of ERFA and thyroxine first thing, and then another 1/2 grain of ERFA at lunch. But my calcium is very low and I need to take multiple doses at the moment which is tricky with thyroid meds. So I’ve been thinking about taking the thyroid meds at bedtime instead. I used to take my thyroxine at night but now there is ERFA too I’m not sure if that will be ok.
Thanks
I know taking calcium is not ideal but I don’t have a choice as I have osteopenia and without a supplement my calcium levels drop too much.

It really is about experimentation. I used to take 30mg of Erfa and 12.5 mcg of t4 an hour before bed. It worked but gave me some palpitations. Ended up reducing to 15mg of Erfa and 6.25 mcg of t4 and that suited me better.
I multi dose and I just recently began taking a dose at 6am whereas before I couldn't.
Another option is to increase your overall dose to circumvent the loss of absorption caused by the calcium multi dosing.
We are all different, I find that taking more than 1/2 a grain of NDT (Thyroid S in my case) at bed time makes falling asleep difficult. However if it works for you I can't see any season why you shouldn't try.
I take 1.5 first thing and another 1 at bed time. It seems to stop me crashing mid morning, but the vivid, full technicolour dreams are something else! Last night I was in some foreign country negotiating a mult million deal on something I know nothing about!
