Statins
Wondering if any one has any input on my situation. My cholesterol levels are pretty high but my cardiac
calcium
score is zero and MRA is normal. I've seen 2 cardiologists who both say I don't need a statin because my score is zero however my neurologist says I do because of the high cholesterol.

Patchy Ground Glass
6/28 - Per my cardiologists I had a
Calcium
Score done to measure my cardiac risk. I found out that my score was Zero (best you can get), but they found patchy ground glass - biggest 9mm - likely inflammatory.

looking for tips
I’ve done
calcium
/magnesium, iron supplements taken with orange juice, stretching, hot baths before bed, mirapex and lyrica. It’s daily and nothing helps. Looking for avenues that I’ve never tried. And yes, light exercise in the evening.

GP will only test TSH
Started on alendronic acid and
calcium
tablets together with HRT patches and progesterone tablets on a night. I've put on over a stone, really emotional, but the worst is the unbelievable tiredness. Did raise levo to 125mg and tsh came down from 4 to 1. Mine is normally 0.01.

folate (as calcium folinate)
I’ve been reading the ingredients and am worried in case I should be leaving 4 hours for the vitamin B complex due to the folate mentioning
calcium
folinate and I know
calcium
shouldn’t be taken for four hours after thyroid meds or is this type of
calcium
ok to take an hour after?

calcium
and alendronic acid.I took the steroids and declined the rest.Within a few hours all signs of a flare had gone and I began tapering

From RA to Lupus. High dose pred questions.
Should he be taking
calcium
and vit D supplements? And if so, which would people recommend? Also he has high blood pressure which is currently sort of controlled by amplopidine (5mg) - does anyone have experience of this?

Stage 4, GL 9 seeking advice
My Oncologist just ordered a blood test (checking
calcium
) to see how to strengthen my bones. My blood work is good: PSA 0.95 down from 70 and every other marker is green. Where do I go from here? My Gleason 4 plus 5, which is a little better than 5 plus 4.

radiation whack-a-mole?
In 2021 I had cyberknife radiation to new lesions in spinal vertebrae L3 and T9, which knocked the cancer back but also weakened the bone and led to compression fractures, to harden the bone I'm now also getting an Xgeva (bisphospehante) injection every 90 days, along with a ton of
calcium
every day.
