hi should I take a calcium supplement, to help my severe osteoporosis and will I absorb calcium, anyone taking ppis know that they are absorbing calcium and nutrients.

Yes, take calcium citrate 1000 mg. It does not need acid to absorb it (unlike calcium carbonate)

have you had your blood calcium levels checked since starting the infusions? If not then I would ask your gp to do this and vit D before you supplement as you have previously said that you were told you didn’t need to supplement due to calcium levels being ok via blood test before infusion.

hi! My Drs have prescribed Calcium tablets a Vitamin D. Maybe ask if you should have it.
