what a pleasant surprise. Rheumatologist was very nice, kind, knowledgeable. He wasn’t miffed about me still on Steroids after 5 years. He said what a very low dose and good if it helps. Also said the steroids help with my bulging disc in my neck. Pleased that Vit D and calcium where good. Have

TIMING OF 55 MG OF PRED...OR SOMETHING ELSE?
I'm currently on 55 mg. of Pred for what was suspected GCA, but Ophtamology and Rheumy say negative, and having a really difficult time with it. Shakiness, extreme fatigue, exhaustion and weakness. Coordination is off in hands with the shaking, to wear I thought I might actually have Parkinsons or worse

Hi received from HealthUnlocked the article about CBD & Magnesium cream. I read the trustpilot comments and thought - sounds good to me.
So ordered a tube. Fine - then I thought - that was silly as didn't check whether it interferes with the WARFARIN I have to take. Yes, you've guessed it - its a GREAT BIG NO-NO - can't have CBD if on warfarin. Talk about brain fog took over. Anyway just want to let others know BEFORE they buy (

Involuntary jerks in left side of upper body
I am 67 year old male on PD for the last three and half years. Of late for the last two weeks, I find I invlountarily get jerks in left side of upper body. The jerks are like hiccups. Over a day, I get around 15 to 20 jerks. I am wondering whether it is some neurological issue and is being caused by

How much Magnesium to take for RLS?
I know that this has been answered many times ... so many apologies. How much Magnesium should one take for RLS, what sort of Magnesium (glycinate?), and at what time of the day? Big thanks, Sally

New to this...
Hi all. This site seems to be a great resource of information. My head is swirling with the mostly unexpected diagnosis I got yesterday. Although I do not have details yet, the labels were osteoporosis in the spine and ostopenia in the hip. I was in a high impact bike accident in August and to no

Wandering Scot presently living in Mexico and recently diagnosed with PMR
I was diagnosed a few weeks ago with PMR after being first told I had gout and then it was emotional. Pain in my neck and shoulders and exhaustion had been going on for about 9 months but I kept thinking I was sitting the wrong way at my computer or sleeping the wrong way so would take an over-the-counter

P-Afib from cancer treatment causes different part of heart to misfire.
Hello Everyone,So I was diagnosed with P-Afib nearly 7 years ago. Beta blockers were a disaster and made me exceedingly ill.....Once on a calcium channel blocker, Verapamil, things however settled down. At the time I was told Ablation isn't an option for me as it could be my heart is misfiring due to

Wisdom on T3 dosage and calcium and T4
I have been given, I think, the lowest dosage of T3 - 5mg which I have to split in half to take twice a day (7 am and 12am). I understand dosage is based on weight but I could be wrong. I weigh 60kg (height 5’7”). I feel I need another dose at 5 pm or so as I start to yawn extremely and struggle to
