I had a scan today at 36+6, my baby girl has been head down since 27 weeks but this week she has decided to turn and is now breech, I also have gestational diabetes and she is weighing a massive 9lb 13 oz, I no these estimates can be wrong but my point is the doctors don't want me to have a natural birth

Problem in passing urine after undergoing 35 cycles of radiation in pelvis area.
I had TURP in Oct 2016 & as bleeding was not coming under control had radiation. Now I have problem in passing urine. Is this expected after radiation? Will it improve with time. Can someone share his experience on this ?

Hi! I have had GH for about 6 years. I am 33 weeks pregnant and it has been a constant worry for me throughout pregnancy. I am actually scheduled for a c-section, not because of the GH, but because I broke my pelvis a few years ago in a car accident. So, transmitting the virus via vaginal birth is

Hi, I have been monitoring this site for some time now and would like to take the opportunity of thanking each and every person who has taken the time to contribute to it, regularly or not. Sometimes even one little piece of information is the missing bit in the jigsaw puzzle of AF which makes attempting

Screening mothers who give birth via cesarean may reduce vertical transmission of HCV
Many people oppose C-sections in comparison to natural birth, but would opinions change if C-sections provide health benefits to newborns? A recent study has shown that mothers who give birth via cesarean may reduce vertical transmission of HCV to their newborns. http://bit.ly/2gpbOLD

Living in the Shadow
In the spring of 1997 I had completed my first triathlon sprint. I was young and fit and full of life! I was living alone and woke up a week after the event feeling fine. At work, a headache began as did a sharp pain in my back. By the end of the day I was hardly able to walk home. That night I went

TURP for BHP - removes the prostate from the inside out
It seems like this would be generally useful, unless one hopes to rehabilitate the prostate and heal it. TURP leaves the surrounding tissue in place, and leaves the "capsule" of the prostate in place, but there is no question it is "debulking", and apparently it is thought of as a minor surgery. Why

Duplex system
Hey. I'm looking for some replies from people with knowledge or experience of having a duplex system and being symptomatic of it. For years I assumed I had damaged my kidneys from my bulimia and laxative abuse days. Now I know that my kidneys play up because I have a duplex system. The exact words used

Ca 125 and menstruation
First of all I have to say what a great site this is. I am at the waiting for my scan stage after a Ca 125 test result of 57. My GP did the test after I went with a raft of problems and niggles which have been rumbling (literally) for a couple of years now. I'm going to be 46 in a month, have 3 children
