Pain during sex

Ok so I have not been officially diagnosed with endometriosis but I did have abdominal wall endo caused by a c section. For the past few years sex as always been painfull and i am now wondering if I have endometriosis. It just feels uncomfortable and almost like there is something rubbing inside if that makes sense does anyone else have this?

I also discovered that I had endometriosis after having a c section. A lump was found on my scar about 7 years later which was removed by general surgery. Since then I had a laparoscopy last year which found further endometriosis. Definitely well worth asking for another appointment with a gynae.

Thanks what do they do im really scared of internal examinations because they do hurt. Is the only way to diagnose a laparoscopy? X

MRI apparently helps diagnose, I'm having one soon as I may have it near or on the bowel.

A lap is the best way though. I was petrified as I'd had a traumatic birth beforehand hence the c-section and had a panic attack when I came round but the nurses were fantastic.

I have been told conflicting things about this. It wasn't inside my scar it was just above it in my abdominal wall, the surgeon said I prob have not got normal endo and this had happened because part of the lining of my womb was displaced in my abdomen during the c section. However another dr has told me that its likely I do have it I just dont know what to beleive. I have had an mri and various ultrasounds which have all shown normal uterus and ovaries and no abnormality with the lining of my womb. I dont have painfull or heavy periods but I do bleed for around 12-16 days. The only symptoms I would have is painfull sex. Im still having problems with my abdomen I keep having painfull muscle spasms whenever I try and use my stomach muscles e.g exercising. Which was the symptom I had which led to investigations that found the endometrioma mass in my abdominal wall earlier this year.
