6 week postpartum check
Hi, My 6 week postpartum check is coming up (I’ll be 8 weeks when I have it due to Covid scheduling changes). I had a c section so presume they’ll check my scar but do they carry out an internal exam or anything else? Just wondering what to expect. Thanks x

Endo and the menopause
Hi all, I'm 47, have stage 4 endo on bowel and uterus and have struggled through since my late 30s when I developed it after having kids, (I have a theory it was due to a c-section ) . I've only one lap and never really found a good consultant in london. I wondered if anyone can tell me what happens

Is there an amount of time between a c section & a vbac when the chances of a uterine rupture is the same as a 1st/2nd time vaginal birth?
I had a c section 6 years ago and thinking of trying for another child

Has anybody whose suffered from PP with previous pregnancy gone on to have a natural birth 2nd time round
Hi ladies forgive me for not updating you lot, currently 17 weeks pregnant. Spoke to my consultant on Monday who’s kind encouraged me to go for a natural birth. At first not going to lie the thought of it scared me. However I’ve been using The positive birth digital package , I think I might just go

Bicornuate uterus likelihood of C-section ???
Hello I’m currently 27 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I have an appointment with my consultant in my 28th week (I’m on a consultant led pathway due to my womb) this will be the first appointment as the last few have been cancelled due to Covid. I’m open to having a section- whatever is safer right

Sensitive post - birth announcement
22 years after I was first told I would never be able to have children, and 4 years since we first set foot in our fertility clinic, we welcomed our baby boy into the world 🥰 He’s a whopping 9lb 12 and was born by elective c section on Wednesday due to a couple of factors but mainly my anxiety which

Unusual Cervix referral
Hi All, New here. I went to the doctors on Friday for the usual 3 year smear test. The nurse examined me and said she needed to get the doctor to have a look as she didn't think it looked quite right. The Doctor came in and performed her own examination and agreed that it didn't look or feel right.

Ivf pregnancy induced
Hi, Not sure if anyone can help. Have been told due to IVF pregnancy they will induce me around my due date/before. Has anyone that’s been told this been able to opt for a c section? I have on going back issues, lower wear and tear on my spine being one of them so I’m quite anxious about the impact

Lump after excision surgery
Hi all I had an endo lump removed on the 15th June which was in my C section scar. The lump was causing me endless amounts of pain. I haven’t had the results yet but I’ve been left with a good ball size swelling. The stitches look fine and I feel much more mobile now but I’m terrified I’m going to be

Cramps at 14 months post c section.
I have been getting cramps (almost like menstrual cramps) in my lower stomach randomly (not when on my period). They last anywhere between a few minutes to 2 hours and I tend to get them during the night. It’s been 14months since the birth of my child via caesarean. Also I’m not pregnant. Is this normal

Rescheduled lap date has been confirmed - now I'm in two minds
Hi all, I was originally due to have my diagnostic laparoscopy at the end of March but due to Covid it was postponed. I've just been told that it's been moved to a private hospital and is on the 9th July tentatively. Since lockdown, I have continued to experience the usual pain, but also came the realisation

ITP and Pregnancy
Hi! I've read through a number of the posts and found them very helpful. I'm 9 weeks pregnant and just found out that my platelet count is at 50. I'm going to see a hematologist and get their expert opinion, but my doctor said she felt that the most likely diagnosis was ITP secondary to an autoimmune

PAIN 30 DAYS POST TURP
I had a Turp procedure about a month ago. I was bleeding lightly for about 3 weeks, that finally stopped. However, I'm still getting pain when I urinate. As far as I know I do not have cancer, but I had a pretty large prostate (125 ml). The doctor wanted to do the procedure because i was being hospitalized
